A Good Check to do!
It is very good to from time to time check how big our head
is.
Because we talk and write about the teachings, this does not mean that we
know a lot or are a lot.
Because we have learnt a lot means that we were previously ignorant
to those things. Does that merit allowing our head to swell? For me it doesn't.
As Socrates said, knowing that we don’t know is a better
state to be in. And there is always much more for us to know, meaning there is
still so much we are ignorant of and so then how in all rationality can we
allow our head to swell?
