Photos a Good Point a Bad Point - (2783)

Photos like so many other things are dual. In the hands of the ego they can cause so much trouble but in the hands of the consciousness they can be so useful.

For example, the photos of the masters teach us so much and photos of beauty, nature, the essence in people, all viewed upon with our essence inspire, teach and move us.

Photos as historical records of events are also so helpful in gathering a more real and accurate appreciation of the details, atmosphere and emotion of an event.

Photos convey so much that words can not convey - "a picture paints a thousands words".

On the other side, photos can be seen by the ego and therefore feed or agitate the ego and cause problems. We often look at photos with judgement, jealousy, comparison, criticism, envy, self-love, lust etc. Here if we are observant we can find much material for us to work upon psychologically.

Perhaps a person who is photogenic is one who likes photos and looks upon photos neutrally or in a more balanced way. While the one who is not photogenic is one who has a perhaps hidden dislike for photos and seldom looks upon the photos of others in a good light.

What do you reckon? True or not really?

End (2783).
