Both the Living and Dying Need Food - (2787)

Food for the living is matter and food for the dying is wisdom.

When a person is healthy and well alive solid food nourishes, when a person is ill and dying, solid food is of little use, but food for the soul is what nourishes most.

Food for the soul is wisdom, faith, love, trust, Divine affinity etc.

So it must be for us, that when we are dying psychologically, through our psychological work, what nourishes us the most is not matter or the material, but wisdom and that which comes from our interior and the interior of others.

End (2787).
