The work with the mind can be really difficult at times. Thought after thought. Our consciousness gets tired and we just seem to only be able to notice the thoughts then let go.
We don;t really notice how active the mind can be until we really try work with silence. When our alertness seems to be failing we need to do something.
A energetic reboot is one good way to get our consciousness to be back on top.
Some very deep breathing, mantras chanted energetically, runes done intensely, some physical activity etc. all help to do that.
With that new energy we can resume our observation of the mind and focusing our consciousness.
