Introduction
This post is about our relationship with the body.
A Gift
We can see the body in many different ways, one way is to
see it as a gift. If we follow this angle we can with our consciousness admire
its creation, its marvel and its mystery and appreciate it through this avenue
rather than through other avenues.
Other Avenues May not be Good
One very typical avenue or way of seeing the body is wanting
others to like it or get excited and interested in it. This is lust.
Lust wants others to appreciate and like our body and as
this develops it begins to want to use the body to impress others and inevitably
we fall into the senses and get stuck there. This can be one start of lust.
That is a reason why very attractive people - men and women can
often fall into strengthening lust. Like all these models and actors and
actresses tend to be very promiscuous, all because of this.
