That's certainly a truth isn't it? That means all the tasks that we dislike doing can be an excellent object for mindfulness.
When we really go into mindfulness we separate the ego somewhat, we calm ourselves down a lot and what we are doing is all valid to help us be mindful.
If we make ourselves tranquil anything can be used for mindfulness practice. It is all valid grounds to observe ourselves. Mindfulness or self-observation and the state of alertness encompasses our whole life, nothing is left out of it. Only we are the ones that throw it out.
To be mindful is also to be courageous. When we don't like something we protest - we are not calm and we do it quickly and the last thing we want to do is to be mindful through the experience or activity. Mindfulness through difficulty builds courage.
