People Don't Want to Listen to Details - (4641)

In normal conversation should people listen to every detail we say? No!

We think they should but why should they? People most often want to hear the conclusion, the summary, the decision and what needs to be done now or what will happen next.

We believe the details are important, but to people they are not always. It seems to that the details are only really important to people if they are related to getting paid or there is something to get out of it. Like how some egos such as ill-will wants to know every detail...

Which is the right stands to take? The details should be listened to or not? It all just depends. Sometimes for professional reasons such as in medicine and the military the details need to be listen to. Sometimes they do not need to be listened to, and sometimes they should not be listened to and sometimes it is just a matter of choice, i.e. we find them fascinating or boring.

The real thing is that it is our sense of self-importance that believes others should listen to our details and not miss a detail. That belief is always wrong.

Believing this creates instant drama and is really all about the 'myself'. To get angry when others miss a detail is just the "I" clearly in action.

End (4641).
