We don't like or dislike things in themselves, that is how the thing really is in itself.
We don't like or dislike the experience of the thing.
The experience of the reality of thing is above liking and disliking.
What we like and dislike is our own idea of the thing. We don't even like or dislike another person's idea of the thing. What we like or dislike is our own idea about their idea.
The real experience of the thing is different to the idea and the ideas of others.
The idea traps us while the experience frees us.
It's worth reviewing our ideas and seeking the experience of them and holding off on judgement and opinions until we experience.
