Constructive and Destructive Instead of Good and Evil, Good and Bad, Right and Wrong – (446)

Introduction

What is good and evil, what is right and wrong and what is good and bad? They are essentially mental judgements or concepts. That is they exist in our mind and are a product of our mind. What though are they in reality? In reality, they are either convenient or inconvenient or constructive and destructive. Lets expand upon this.

Expanding

What is right or good is something that starts a chain of positive effects that lead to a construction of something, a creation of order and a certain correctness or dignity that is proper that brings harmony, is dignifying and may even improve and repair or renew something that was previously damaged or broken.

What is bad or evil on the other hand brings a destruction, a breaking down and disorder. It usually makes things worse and creates disorder. It is essentially in practical terms all the opposite of what a good or right thing does. But the key words are constructive or evolutionary and destructive or involutionary.

Egos are Destructive or Involutionary and the Essence Evolutionary

Lust, anger, pride and the other large defects are all destructive. Lust with its adultery and other things that are by-products of its nature, hurts others by destroying relationships and hurts ourselves destroying our self-image and image in front of others. This is because sexuality and Being are very much linked together. The power of sexuality allows us to Be, so a sexuality working destructively erodes our Being and sense of Being.

Conclusion

In conclusion what is good and bad, good and evil and right and wrong is known by its results in real and practical life. The fruit is known once it blossoms and bares fruit. The same with the ego, its results are negative, therefore it is a wrong creation.

End (446).
