Taming Polar Bears (Polar Opposite Pairs) - (2157)

Polar Opposite Pairs

Duality. How interesting it is. The law of 2. How the two parts of the two, the duality, are so intimately linked. Undoubtedly this intimate link comes from the fact that the unity, the one gave rise to the two. This intimate relation only happens with the law of two, that is with duality. IT does not occur with the three or four or seven. But only with the two.

Examples

Such examples of polar opposite pairs can only be found in creations where the Law of Two reigns supreme.

Some examples life and death, day and night, good an evil, virtue and defect, and what this post is all about pain and pleasure.

In fact many egos are one half of the polar opposite pair, where it is a certain value that has been polarised into duality. Just like a coin, the coin is the value and the coins two sides are the defect and virtue.

General Formula for Psychological Polar Oppositions

The law of two gives rise to relativity. There must be two or more for there to be relativity. Because relativity is about something in relations to something else. See straight the two things must be present. With the Law of One relativity disappears.

So with relativity we defeat the polar opposite pairs. How? The best way to understand it, is with an example and lets now take the pain and pleasure example.

Pain and Pleasure Overcome When…

When the yearning to be with our inner Being and the pain of not being close to our inner Being surpasses (is more than) the pleasure provided by the ego then we are ready to overcome both pain and pleasure to seriously die in the egos that have bi-polarised the value, which could be sexuality, eating, balance, majesty, love etc.

Before that point we are stuck, we must simply continue fighting until we arrive at this point.

End (2157).
