Sensual love does not free us, it rather traps us. People get stuck in the sensations and emotions for years and don't transcend them. There are so many like that, all their unhappiness and mood swings, complaints etc. show this ad nauseam. The people working on themselves are called to do this difficult work.
Conscious love which is more difficult to arrive at, but it does not enslave us. Because it does not make us fearful.
Conscious love begins when we have a permanent centre of consciousness within us.
