2016 - 8 This year was really a hard year in many senses, not just for myself but for a few others that I know, especially in the area of health. There were really some scary and sad moments regarding people’s health. There were also some moments of relief and triumph. Certainly this year being 8, certainly did live up to, and still is living up to its core qualities – tests, patience and justice. 2016 – 9 This new year according to Kabbalah is ruled by the number 9 – ‘The Hermit’. This year promises some solitude and the push to make some individual inner efforts to conquer new stages in our owrk and the esoteric path. So it will be interesting but not as tough as last year. Evaluation We are going to have a small retreat tonight, and one of the key features of the retreat will be an evaluation of ourselves. When Needed When the ego is too big and the essence is constantly choosing the ego, then the Being and the Typhon do a work of inducing the essence or the person into a series of didactic fails losing a little ground to the ego, but not everything or too much that it would seriously damage the person’s path. Then through the direct experience of evil and the pain and painful consequences comes awareness and then the essence is in a much better enlightened position to chose the work and the Being instead of the ego. Due to Anger Unknown We all have secret fears within us, and most of them could well be, no more than the result of the brief knowing of having heavy and strong, yet to face and comprehend egos in our interior. It is basically the unknown inside ourselves that is one or many of the sources of the secret fears that we have. These secrets fears may get stronger in certain occasions of life, even in relationships because we suspect that we have these terrible egos inside and because we don’t know them we have not dominated them and we are scared that they could ruin things for us and others. Second Logos or Second Primary Force or Chokmah The second logos, the Son or Chokmah in Kabbalah has its centre of gravity in Tiphereth. Which is the human soul or the causal world as well. This makes sense as the human soul is the human face of the Christ, that is the mystery of the Third Labour of Hercules where Hercules has to capture the Hind of Cyrenia without killing it. Key to Crystallise the Second Logos Master Samael says that the key to crystallise the second primary force is to take with joy or pleasure the unpleasant manifestations of our fellow man. This means to transform impressions, once again there is the transformative action of the Christ at work. There is really no more negative impressions that this, that is than the negative actions or unpleasant manifestations of our fellow man. Our Intimate Christ Prays It may seem strange, and it was that way for me, to think that the Intimate Christ prays. But according to others He really does, and he prays with great intensity. Before the Father and Our Lord The Intimate Christ prays for us before our Father, which is also His father. He may even draw force and support from the Son of the Father of all of us - the Cosmic Christ. Obeys Instructions and Needs Instruction It seems from some of the things Master Samael says especially in his book “Pistis Sophia Unveiled” that our Intimate Christ obeys the instructions from the Father and is also instructed or taught by the Cosmic Christ. Christic Images and the Cross If we do a quick search for images of Jesus, we come across many images showing Jesus on the cross and images of Jesus’ heart with a small cross on top of it, tongues of flames surrounding it and a crown of thorns pressing onto it. All these images show something Divine yet something painful, that ‘painful’ part of it is the sacrifice part and the Divine part is the recompense. A Big Truth Everyone knows this truth that applies everywhere, in life as well as in the path. That is we do not put effort in we can not get anything out or in other words if we do not sacrifice we only get a little. Based on What Others Have Said… This post is a weaving together of what others have said about what it is like to have the Intimate Christ within them. Imagine Imagine what it would be like to have your Intimate Christ within you. Imagine there being a conscious autonomous part of your Being dwelling in your heart. Experiencing all that you experience, witnessing all that you think and feel. Introduction To be able to be transformed is a real gift, actually a gift from above. A Divine gift that mind you does not come to us for free but is granted to us by grace of the Father to heal and redeem us. Physical Body Heals Itself but Not Our Psychology or Soul The physical body heals itself, and thank God that it does that. We see that the beginning parts of the path, essentially the probationary path and the major path are to prepare for His coming and the Venustic initiations are to initiate Him (also to Christify the bodies) and the second mountain is for Him to work in us and to help us pay our karma and to help us to die and then with His death He vanquishes all the remaining egos. Intimate Christ Above Duality The Intimate Christ comes to unite us. He is definitely above duality, that is above good an evil. He comes to us while we have many egos alive within our interior and He unites Himself with them so to dissolve them. He Master Samael says assumes the work of dissolving them. He effectively accepts and assumes us as we are, with much karmic debt, with much errors committed in the past and many heavy egos. He therefore accepts and assumes the good and bad in us.
