I have to stress that these words are my notes only. The thoughts and understanding behind them do not come from me but from the terrific missionaries that lead the various activities during the retreat.

Why Some Masters Have' Children and Others Don’t

It can sometimes happen that masters have children and others don't.

This is because those masters who have children, need the experience of being parents while they are on the path.

Those initiates or masters who do not have children while walking the path, is because they did or do not need the experience of walking the path while having children.

Final Comments

It seems that we all need the experience of being parents while walking the path, however those who do not have children have already had that experience in the past.

I think that having children while on the path makes things more difficult. Knowing this certainly one would not deliberately wish to have children  while being on the path, but due to the laws of the path and karma it does happen.
