Back from Retreat – Notes from Retreat to be Posted - (591)

Wednesday 2nd of December

Back at work now. The retreat finished this time three whole days ago now. Virtually all minus a handful of people have safely made it back to their home, which is always a great relief.


Success

The retreat was very successful I believe. I think many people learnt a great many things about the work and themselves. No one got sick or ill, there were as with every retreat some difficulties but overall many people commented saying how harmonious and helpful the retreat was.


Notes Taken

As promised I used by Echo Live Scribe pen to take several pages of notes. I am starting to like that pen, because it saves a lot of time. It converts hand written notes straight into digit text which I can just copy and paste straight into blog posts. That means that I can post more and more for you.

Over the next few days I will post some of these notes, especially those ones that are very practical and concern the work in general.

When We Speak Bad About Ourselves - Because of Self-Compassion - (2963)

Even Just Thinking Negative When we just even think, let alone speak about ourselves in a negative way, thinking things like: how we are really this and that bad and that is not at all what others see, that we are in capable, worth little, know nothing, can't do this and that, fail at this and that, a liar, a dreamer the list goes on... We can be 100% sure that self-compassion is behind this because pride by itself would never allow this.  In a case like this self-compassion taps into what pride hides from itself and others and exposes it. The Divine Mother is there when we Comprehend - (5780)

A very wonderful instructor gave a talk on Koradi Radio a few days ago and he said something that really impacted. He said that when we comprehend something, our Divine Mother is present right in that moment of comprehension. Especially if it is do with an "I" we are working on. He went on to say that he knows that She is there when we comprehend something. This for me was marvellous, because I have felt the same, though I was never fully sure. This is great news when we want to build a connection to our Divine Mother and doubt when is present. We can know that She is present when we are trying to comprehend. I feel that She really wants us to comprehend the "I" and further more She helps us to comprehend. We can truly ask for Her help to comprehend something and the help will come in such a natural way that we will tend to overlook it.   She is better than Google...  End (5780).
