6 of 7 - Esoteric Work and the Nervous System - (2853)

Esoteric Nervous System

On the esoteric side of things, I think much could be written about the nervous system. So much more than I know and understand and can write about.

All I can say is that the more important parts of our nervous system esoterically speaking are the central nervous system and the Autonomic nervous system. Remembering that in the Autonomic Nervous System are the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems.

The central nervous system is related to the Kundalini which is also related to the tree of life.

The autonomic system is then related very much to the tree of the science of good and evil, and to the sexual centre and energy.

All of the parts of the nervous system are connected and relate to one another. Just as the two trees, that of the Tree of Life and the Tree of the Science of Good and Evil.

The Central Nervous System is suspended in a special fluid - the Cerebral Spinal Fluid

The astral body, Master Samael says actually begins to crystallise within our autonomic nervous system when we create it. Which is very interesting because the astral body takes on some of our characteristics and draws a lot upon our physical vitality and the state of our physical constitution.

It is an interesting thing to note that both the esoterically important nervous systems are suspended in and are intimately related to the waters of life. The sexual fluid is related to the autonomic nervous system and the cerebral spinal fluid is related to the Central Nervous System. Both trees need their waters to be nourished from and to be a vehicle to distribute the nourishment of the waters of life.

It seems also that the kundalini and the sushumna reside within the Central Nervous System. Which in some way makes sense as the central nervous system comprises the spine and the brain and the kundalini rises up the spine and into the brain, touching the chakras and endocrine glands that are connected to the spine.

Esoteric Work

So ideally what we want is to have a nervous system that is robust yet flexible. One that recovers quickly from life's various difficult moments.

Transmuting we strengthen and transform our nervous systems. When we work with our inner Being we also affect our nervous system as we cause the impulses and energies of our essence to course through our nervous system. Which relaxes it, nourishes it, balances it and strengthens it.

When we work psychologically we stop the ego from using our nervous system and so we allow the more harmonious vibrations and energies from the essence to flow through it. When the ego uses the nervous system it impacts it violently, it shocks it and drives it stridently, which harms it and in the long run makes it very weak and affects our psychosomatic robustness.

When we charge our nervous system with lots of energy we actually come to assist our awakening, as this energy passes into the brain and the essence is in the brain, both the brain and essence receive lots of energy and start to complete an energy circuit that joins essence, brain and the important parts of our nervous system.

Basically though, when we work psychologically, when we transmute and when we invoke our inner Being we strengthen our nervous system and its parts.

Autonomic System Made More Conscious

When by using breathing we start to activate the parasympathetic nervous system at will, we are beginning to make the autonomic nervous system more conscious. A friend told me this.

Astral Body

Master Samael says that the astral body is in the Autonomic nervous system, and we need to take it out of there at will so to use it or travel with it.

There is a key to help form the astral body and also nourish the astral body and it is to transform impressions. So when we transform impressions this then must affect our autonomic Nervous System in a positive way. This also tells us that the autonomic nervous system is related to feeling or emotions and to the astral plane.

End (2853).
