Theft is down deep in the abyss. Dante locates it in the 8th circle.
When something is located towards the bottom of the tree with many factors above, we can understand that this bottom dwelling element is the combined result the many factors above it.
It is the culmination of several factors that are lighter than it, with their combination forming something that is heavy.
For example, Malkuth is the synthesis of the whole tree of life, Kether is synthesised in Malkuth, and Malkuth is the heavier and densest of all that is above it.
So theft is the result of many factors above it. Such as greed and gluttony, as well as fear. Because of the combination of the several egoic factors we steal and betray.
That is why theft is at the bottom. At first theft does not seem too bad, however with a careful examination it is something very impactful because it breaks high values - namely trust that greed and and gluttony do not break. Greed and gluttony by themselves are their own weight, however combined into producing theft they make a very heavy combination that gravitates down low towards the bottom of the abyss or infra-dimensions.
End (5887).
