Like Water
If we were like water inside of ourselves, constantly
flowing we would feel great.
This is one of the points of wisdom of water and life. Water
brings life and life flows. As soon as water stops flowing life stops. As soon
as life stops flowing - life stops and death appraoches.
Even the human body is designed and built to move, to flow. The
first sign of life is to be found in the motor centre when we breathe, when
there is movement within our body.
The ego is every blockage in that flow of water and life
within us. Things, people, circumstances, etc. flow in and out of our life. The
ego desires and wishes to hold onto and possess, stopping and altering the flow
of life.
Accept the Flow
If we can accept the flow of our own life, how much peace we
could feel.
Circumstances flow on by, let them flow by, let the bad
times flow past us and let the good times flow in and out just the same. The
flow of our life is taking us somewhere, of course somewhere past the bad
times, we don’t need to get stuck in those bad times.
Just as with friendship, a wise thing to do is to let the
insults and offences be like water flowing under a bridge. If we hold onto them
bitterness stays in us, just as water when still stagnates. They are friends
overall aren’t they, so let the insults an offences flow past and let’s be
friends.
