What Greed Teaches Us - (1246)

Deep Awareness of Natural limits

Greed teaches us the natural limits of ourselves, as does gluttony.

Greed and gluttony is always to go beyond those natural limits.

Gluttony exceeds the limits of our stomach capacity.

Greed exceeds the limits of what we can consume, use, store, afford, do, etc.

Greed and gluttony are ignorant to those natural limits and so they go beyond them.

If we know deep in our mind, heart and consciousness that anything beyond those limits is useless, impractical and wasteful we can stop greed or deliver it a crushing blow.

The value that greed distorts or traps is moderation, contentment, and a key part of these conscious values is the knowledge of our natural limits and of the right magic balanced amount of all things.

End (1246).
