A useful thought to have when we find ourselves suffering is: "are we causing or have caused the same to others?".
It is of course the ego in us that is suffering, though what is interesting is that this suffering is governed. When we have caused others suffering or are causing others suffering, the suffering we feel lingers and is not so easy to move.
Before it can move, it has to dawn on our consciousness that we have done the same or are doing the same. Then when make efforts to correct our actions that are contributing to the suffering of others and we work on that ego we can move that suffering and circumstances begin to change.
We really don't realize at times the suffering that we cause others. It is not even correct to assume that others are not suffering, because they may well be inside and not show it.
That is why we need to pass through the same so that we can realize and correct ourselves. This is actually a way that the law of karma helps us to awaken.
I want to guarantee you something, if you are suffering and you look hard enough you will find the instances where you have caused the same suffering.
I want to guarantee you something, if you are suffering and you look hard enough you will find the instances where you have caused the same suffering.
This could even happen because we are causing our Divinity to suffer and not any other human being. We should check that point out as well: "are we causing our Divinity to suffer?".
