Leave it to the Unity of Life - (2977)

This is something from m.m.m that alleviates the sense and feeling of the unfair, and the real unfair.

The teaching goes "leave it to the unity of life".

The explanation goes that life is really a unity, and in the end or even before the end all things tend towards unity, and where there is unity there is of course - balance.

This means that the many unfair things that have happened in our life or are yet to happen perhaps will all get compensated for or balanced out in the course of the putting together of the unity of life. The unity of life will take care of it for us.

We have to trust in this. Even in the area of unfair words and comments, leave it to the unity of life. Trust in that and let the power of that trust put pride, resentment and self-love aside. 

What was said unfairly or without examining the facts will be in the course of the events of life cancelled and compensated for.

Death and Birth - (2975)

The death of a person is always a little or a lot unsettling. Every death is a mystery, we ask ourselves: why now, why in that way, why that suffering, why that condition? 

We are so powerless to stop death. As much as we want to stop or delay death, the more we are shown that we must resign to it. We must accept it as we are not beyond death our very own selves. There are higher powers that are willing it to be this way.

Those powers why do they will it this way? The teachings tell us that it is the Divine Law that is behind all happenings and goings on in life. The values of past actions are summed up and our destiny calculated, and every step of life follows the tracks of destiny . 

When a person is dying, we are witnessing their life, their process. It is our love to accept it and embrace it as a part of the mystery of their life.

Both birth and death are a mystery. The when, the how and the why.

Death happens to everyone as soon as they are born. We are just to send our love, and yearn that as in life their Divine Mother protected and guided them, so their Divine Mother will do the same in death.

We feel deeply sorry for the person who is dying, maybe because deep down we feel that they are going to be mistreated or face some ill-fate in the world of the dead. How do we know that this is so. We have all come from the world of the dead and we are all ok.

To die physically is a Law that we all, no matter how great in life, have to face and comply with.

A life just gone becomes now a past life. With all merits and values summed up and transferred into creative potential, waiting to form the next life.

Pride and Image - (2976)

Very tough stuff.

The ego of pride finds it pretty tough to endure when what we have in our image is being challenged.

going back in time, when at school being teenagers, we were called a coward, and we think we are tough, it is the ego of pride that suffers terribly and then gets us into trouble, all because we don't want to be seen by others as being a coward and further more we can't accept to our own selves that we could be a coward.

Sometimes it is hard to do a review of our image until it gets challenged. But when it is challenged can we accept the challenge of acceptance within ourselves? That is really where the tough stuff of courage comes into play. There are no values of our essence in activity when we react. To react is the way of pride and it is the cowardly way when seen from an internal point of view. Pride itself is too weak to accept within ourselves the various challenges against our image.

If we are able to accept the challenge within ourselves of accepting the various accusations we just by doing that neutralise to a large degree any reaction of pride to do with our image.

The person who is dead in their pride does not have the need to prove anything.

To Lay Ourselves to Abandon is Not Self-Remembering - (2974)

To be stuck in an inferior state, feeling low, pessimistic and resigned is not how our inner essence feels. This is really good to remember: our essence does not feel like that. Among the truly beautiful things that our essence can feel is the true happiness to be alive.

Yes true though, our situation may be very difficult, but none the less, amidst such difficulty, our essence would not feel lost in negativity. Our essence just always shines, radiates and deals with the situation in the best way that it can.  

To forget our essence and our Inner Being behind our essence and to not look after our body, our nutrition, our hygiene, our home's cleanliness is to forget our essence and our inner Being. This is to disrespect our inner Being. To lower its dignity. 

To uphold all these things when we for some reason go through a very low state is very helpful. It sends a message deep into ourselves that there a Divine essence dwelling within us and that we  actually value it and the next step is to psychologically overcome the negative state that is afflicting us.

A Tribute to John DeMarco - (2970)

As some of you know a very good man and a really good missionary - John DeMarco passed away in the early hours of Tuesday morning on March the 26th. 

John really went through a lot for more than a year. Several lengthy surgeries, numerous treatments and a lot of really tough side effects to deal with. I often imagined how he could have dealt with that. I can't stand feeling nausea for even few minutes. Really, no can doubt that he showed great courage and endurance in the last years of his life. I never heard news of him, complaining or losing the plot or anything like that.   

I remember John and Janice doing the missionary course in Perth in the year 2010 to 2011. I have fond memories of John giving his lectures, he liked to deliver a lot of info in a very efficient (speedy) way. So when John would step up to give his talk, we would take a sigh of relief as we knew it would be good, to the point and not run over time. He always had a lot of  examples and information to give, which he gave so freely and in a very graceful and graceful ‘particular to him’ way. I would honestly still like to receive a talk from him. Well, it can't be now, but many of us have a good memory of his talks, and that brings a hearty smile to one.

Anyone who does a missionary course to work for the spiritual benefit of humanity is wonderful!

To become a missionary and to work as one, holds much sacrifice. That is so rare and so admirable! Who these days does that? You will certainly not find that in the next house down the road.

There is lots of love in a person who does that. There is the essence of love pulsating within the mind and heart of the person. This in a person is a gift to humanity. So John's passing is a loss for humanity, a loss as a husband to Janice, as a missionary, as a friend to his many friends and as a wonderful human being that working in the three factors for many years benefited invisibly the planet and all human beings whom did not know him.

So many times John and Janice gave their beautiful good will in the way of attendance and support to the retreats held in Perth and the retreat was made better for it. How can one replay such beautiful good will, and such effort to come from so far - Saratoga to Perth. Even at the airport they were so 

I wish from the bottom of my heart that all the wonderful things of John sum up and go to him to deliver him into the hands of his Divine Mother where he as essence, as soul will be completely looked after, protected, nourished and favourably set up for the chance to complete his work of the full development of his soul. Certainly we can trust in that as that is the way that things work and for sure John must have cleared much of his debts that were held in the invisible balance, that from here we can not see or hear.

Right or Wrong? - (2972)

Relative

Right or wrong is relative.

Relative to one reference point what you decide is wrong, but relative to a different reference point what you decide is right.

You may be right now, but change the reference point and you're wrong.

That's what happens to us a lot of the time. We decide according to one reference point, then the next day we think about what we decided relative to a different reference point and then we feel lament or regret.

So it all depends on your reference point that you choose.

Worst and Best Reference Point

The all time worst reference point is any ego. It always betrays us. We end up left without force, feeling disappointed and deceived by our ownselves. This is becasue the ego used as a reference point is usually displaced another ego or by reality itself.

The best and most reliable reference points are: the work, the path and the Being.

When we are ready and actually do make these three things: work, path and Being our reference points we will make the decisions right for the path.

The perennial ally of the above reference points is the truth. Looking for the exact truth when having to make a decision cuts one away from the choosing the reference point of the ego.

Feel Strange? - (2971)

All Do Now and Then

For various reasons we do feel quite strange at times. Some times clearly due to the ego. Other times due to the essence feeling out of place in this world with the many systems that run catering to the interests of various very egoic factors.

Flowing On Does the Trick

No matter what the strange feeling is, stopping our flow and continuity of life and work doesn't really help us. The trick is to flow onwards.

Most of the time, knowing that it is there and not allowing ourselves to bothered by it (because we know it will pass) and continue on as normal with our work and life, usually does the trick of moving past these strange feelings.

All that We Feel from Others that Hurts we Have Inflicted Onto Others - (2969)

More and More True

I am coming to know more and more how true a statement the above is.

All the negative emotions that we have in our relationships or dealings with others felt and been bothered by, we have also in the past inflicted upon others. What's more is that if we remain ignorant of that we perpetuate the cycle - hurting and being hurt. But if we radically work on the ego that hurts and feels hurt, the cycle ends.

Cycle

This cycle exists because the ego - usually pride that hurt others by making them feel inadequate for example, stays in our psychology and becasue it is there, it will at the right time in the future just turn on ourselves (going against ourselves). Where we will feel inadequate or inferior in front of someone or a group of people even if they are not really provoking that.

Key

The key then is to understand that if we did not have that aspect of pride that makes others feel inadequate, we will not feel inadequate. They both depend upon each other.

Interesting Particular Person to Person Karma

We may get along with others so well and never feel any inferior emotions, but with others we feel very unnerving inferior emotions all the time. This is because there is a lot of karma involved with that particular person. In other words, in the past we have hurt that person and now it is time for us to receive what we have given. We may even see that others get along really well with the same person, but when it comes to us it is a different story - much to pay!

When the Master Goes Self-Remembering is Key - (2968)

Remember Gandalf when he had to go, he yelled "Run you fools!".

More or less, he was saying wake up, look at your situation, continue on with urgency, save yourself so to finish what has been started. In other words remember yourself!

This situation is not nye, but things change and if we forget the Being in us, we collapse. Well we can collapse, who says we can't but we have to pick ourselves up! Self-remembering is the way to pick ourselves up, suffer less and press on.

Self-Remembering Through Changing Circumstances - (2967)

When our circumstances are about to change we tend to use our imagination to focus on reference points that we feel comfort us. We think to ourselves, well I'll still have my friends, my family, they'll still be there to rely on for help and advice, we then imagine people in the new circumstance and we imagine other reference points as comfort providers.

The best comfort provider of all is to do self-remembering!

That is the one constant through any circumstance.

The Being does not go anywhere. It is always there and always radiating peace and comfort.

Divine Mother Teaches Us With Karma - (2966)

When we go astray, it is our Divine Mother that teaches us through karma.

Creation is hers, it is of her, and the many laws and principles are of her also, and so through the law of karma, the medicine law she teaches us about the many laws and principles we are going against in our ignorance.

Have to be Happy we Have The Divine Mother to Help Us - (2965)

The psychological work is hard. We have to be so happy that we have someone to help us with it. Someone so special that can even dissolve  the elements that give us so much grief. Even someone that knows us better than we know ourselves.

Big Obstacle to Concentration is the Sense of Self - (2964)

Whenever I am concentrating on something the thing I always feel is the yearning to be one with the thing I am concentrating on.

When we are one with the thing we are concentrating one we have very good concentration, no battles, no more mind straying, no duality etc.

The ego becomes totally powerful when it gets our concentration, which we give to it when we identify with it. When we identify with it we become one with it. We are it. "I am angry (I am anger)", "I am upset at you (I am resentment)". etc.

So then real concentration is when we become one and to do that we have to drop the sense of self we have.

From keeping the self we keep the source of discursive thought and distraction. In effect we are always distracted. Remember the consciousness does not have an "I" or a sense of self.

The sense of self that we feel is a false. Just examine what you find to be your sense of self and see how weird a flavour it is. Could our consciousness which it is something divine and cosmic have such a weird flavour?

In conclusion, then we have to practice and practice getting good at stopping the sense of self so as to be able to concentrate.

When We Speak Bad About Ourselves - Because of Self-Compassion - (2963)

Even Just Thinking Negative

When we just even think, let alone speak about ourselves in a negative way, thinking things like: how we are really this and that bad and that is not at all what others see, that we are in capable, worth little, know nothing, can't do this and that, fail at this and that, a liar, a dreamer the list goes on... We can be 100% sure that self-compassion is behind this because pride by itself would never allow this. 

In a case like this self-compassion taps into what pride hides from itself and others and exposes it. Feeling that it is doing job at ruining ourselves.

Why It Does What It Does?

Self-compassion does this sort of thing to avoid reprimand and to extract compassion from others. Self-compassion is about getting compassion for ourselves through others. It is set-up in relativity, using others as a reference point. Really the best thing that you can do for a person who is pitted against this ego is to ignore them, so that they can fabricate the real self-compassion and become independent of using others.

This of going against ourselves in view of others is its main method of extracting compassion which it seeks out as compensation for having failed and lacking the true compassion for oneself.

Conclusion

So it gives us a way to know ourselves more intricately in our pride, but if one identifies with it, it strengthens the ill-will vice of self-compassion. If one can observe this negative voice of self-compassion and take good notes and not identify and ask our Divine Mother to dissolve it we can do some good work on ourselves.

Self-Compassion Combines with Other "I's" - (2962)

Self-Compassion as said earlier is the one that sets up a will against oneself. It sets up will to go against ourselves in many different ways. The way that it goes against ourselves has a lot to do with the events or circumstances in which self-compassion has become manifest.

The word self-compassion is a very limited word to describe this ego and even when one hears one does not really get a good idea of what this ego is about. It is about having compassion for ourselves in the wrong way, in the negative way. The right self-compassion is about accepting responsibility and acting to pay what is owed. This is to have compassion for ourselves to act so to redeem and clear our debts, not feeling terribly down about ourselves and making the debt worse by going against ourselves.

Anyway back to the topic...

So this ego of self-compassion combines with other "I's" to set up a powerful whirlwind of will power energy that drags other elements in its wake so to go against ourselves. It combines with anger to really ruin things almost to the point of non-repair, it combines with gluttony to eat oneself sick into obesity, it combines with pride to destroy our image, reputation and tell everyone how much of a failure we are, it combines with lust to ruin our vitality and spirituality, it combines with alcohol to loose respect for ourselves, it combines with laziness to go into depression and let everything go into abandon, it combines with envy to feel even more of a failure, it combines with resentment to hate and darken our heart - moving further away from the healing power of our essence and our Divine Mother, etc. etc. 

So in conclusion then, self-compassion is a will negative will powered whirlwind that drags other elements into it and veers off always along the same course to an extreme. Balance knocks this ego quite hard on the head! Balance is a powerful remedy.

Having gone to an extreme is always a costly exercise to pull oneself back on track. So then, while a person has this ego and it manifests the first thing that one should stop is these two things:

1.) Try hard that this ego does not combine itself with another element.

2.) Try hard that this ego does not take us to one extreme.

Self-Compassion Comes from Karma - (2961)

Remember what Japan did after WWII, it decided to limit itself by only equipping itself with military might capable of defence. Germany has done a similar thing in many ways, where one of these ways was to let in several hundred thousand new immigrants of very different culture and value set to native German people in an effort perhaps to compensate for the atrocities of WWII.

Self-compassion is the ego that does the same, it is something that works from within our subconscious punishing ourselves. Going against ourselves, castrating ourselves, diminishing ourselves, lowering ourselves etc. 

When this ego is very karmic we punish ourselves even when we really don't want to. Those people who destroy themselves with drugs, sex, alcohol etc. have the ego of self-compassion laden with a heavy burden of karma. The karma does not allow them to so easily leave those ruining activities.

When we have this ego working in our subconscious it actually attracts abuse and so often it happens that instead of getting consideration we get struck with reprimands, insults and the like.

That ego wishes for that abuse because it believes deep down that it deserves it. All the while pride is suffering the unspeakable...

This ego of self-compassion is created from having made various mistakes and not having transformed those mistakes into improvements, change, learning, light, new resolution and an upward movement on the Level of Being.

What a hell of a dark post the next one will be totally different.

Why Justice Depresses Pride - (2960)

Pride deeply believes that it is right and being the ruler in its own style and environment, often is unaware if it is really right or wrong. However, when there is justice there is an authority outside of it that bears down upon it surpassing it and it is evident that it was wrong and it then suffers a disappointment and a kind of disillusionment which manifests as a kind of depression. 

All these feelings of disappointment and disillusionment are all related to pride, to a lesser or greater degree.

This is I feel so needed. We spend our life looking down into the 'humdrum' of life, proud in it and separated somewhat from above.

I have been looking for this bit of info for a while now, to complement the posts on temples. So then, the site of many temples are located on the intersection of these ley lines or magnetic lines of energy just as the excerpt below says.

All living beings have a sensitivity to these paths—they form for example part of the navigation capacity of migratory birds and are also used by sea animals such as whales. A convergence or concentrated criss-crossing of these lines carries a special intensity, is therefore considered a power point and many such places, for example Stonehenge, have become sacred to religious use of some kind in history. Many great cathedrals in Europe are built on such convergences and hence are thought of as cosmic power points."

Law of Octaves - Practical Conclusion - (2957)

The practical conclusion to this issue of the Law of Octaves and the Law of Seven is then to know that in any project, en-devour or enterprise there will always be 'stops' or intervals characterised by obstacles and that we will always have to renew our efforts so as to drive forward towards results or our aim.

The Nautilus Shell - A Perfect Example of the Law of Octaves.

It is good to know that renewed efforts will become at the due moment super efforts, the higher the octave.

The Law of Octaves also tells us that everything has its right moment and that efforts are best made in an interval and the aim of all things is to strive towards higher octaves.

Also the higher an octave is taken, the more and more spiritual or sublime the endevour becomes.

First Interval

Here is our octave:

Do Re Me Sol La Fa Si Do

Master Samael says that Do Re Me marks the beginning of the project or enterprise. In the beginning some progress is made however there comes a kind of a 'stop' or pause. 

This 'stop' occurs between Me and Sol.

This 'stop' is characterized, Master Samael says, by obstacles and difficulties. What's more he says that these obstacles are usually from the events and issues of life.

If we lack will, determination and are weak in conviction, this is exactly where we fail or give up or put the project on hold.

What we need Master Samael says is to produce a renewed effort to surpass the obstacles so as to be able to continue forward.

Second Interval

If one overcomes the first 'stop', then another waits in the interval between Fa and Si. Once again difficulties and obstacles appear, usually of a different nature to the ones experienced earlier.

Once again the way to overcome them, is to produce a renewed effort, that is inject renewed energy, invest more time, inject more will and consciousness so to sail forward.

New Octave Produced

If we overcome the two stops, then we will arrive at producing a new octave in our project or enterprise. Which is what we want. Then once again we will have to pass through the same 'stops' or intervals to give another octave.

The Law of Octaves or the Law of Seven corresponds to the unfolding of Universal Sound.

It was actually sound that made creation possible, and it is even sound that is sustaining creation. Everything is vibrating and therefore in a state of producing sound. 

Before there was creation there was sound, in the way of :"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God". 

Orders the Way Any Creation Unfolds

The Law of Seven determines the way anything that we do unfolds. It plays a vital role in any project or enterprise no matter what it may be.

Secret Why we Fail

The Law of Seven actually holds the secret as to why so many of our enterprises or projects actually fail. Therefore if we know how it works we can take any enterprise or project to fruition! YEAH!!!

Introduction

I have been looking for this information for a long time now. 

Thanks to m.m.m who brought it to light just the other day actually.

You will find it very illustrative and practical.

It is taken from a talk Master Samael gave and was transcribed and included in the "El Quinto Evangelio".

Background

Before diving in, it is good to have a little bit of a background going on. An octave consists of eight notes. In an octave there are really only seven distinct notes (that is where the Law of Seven comes into it). 

An octave is a spiral where there is a starting point - the first note, then the notes rise in pitch or frequency and the circle or cycle reaches an end - the eight note, which is the beginning note but at a higher frequency (higher or new octave).

See how the first and eight notes are the same (both are Do). That cycle is an octave, and it is very physical, psychological and esoteric actually. The following posts will show you why and how that is.

Elementals 6 - Among Them - (2953)

The elementals of nature most certainly do have their kingdoms. They have their dominions where human beings are out of place and do not necessarily belong.

If you have ever been to Milford sound in the South Island of NZ you will know what I mean... 

What a foreboding place, one can really feel that one stepped into a special kingdom that ought to be treated with respect. Waves of reverence emanate from the mountains, the trees and the waters sending the message - "what is man doing here?". 

What force and strength of vitality there is there! One feels so rejuvenated and left in awe of the great vital forces of the Earth that are still in activity. Images of the "Hall of the Mountain King" come to mind, the domain of the giant talking tress, elves and the mountain king bearing down upon you.  

Imagine the ocean depths, the ocean trenches the many lakes, seas, estuaries and rivers, they are the domain of the undines, the high spheres of the Earth amongst the highest mountain peaks are the realms of the sylphs. The fiery bellows of the volcanoes are the realms of the salamanders of the fire. 

It is said that some elementals are happy and willing to help human beings while are others are very wary - well with just reason. Man now days has no appreciation of the elementals or nature spirits and just wishes to use nature (the result of their work) for its own benefit.

The elementals are said to be quite zealous with their domain...So as to protect it and keep it free from prying human hands, that will only corrupt or pollute it.

Even they may be reaching out to human beings to inpsire them to help humanity to take more care of nature.

There are hierarchies and hierarchies everywhere in the cosmos and so amongst the elementals of nature. Sitting at the the top are the Guru Devas who guide, instruct and watch over the elementals. Then there are elemental Kings and Queens.  

There are the workers and the bosses, just as there is everywhere.

Their main job it is said, is to build up and bring the life force delivered tot eh Earth from cosmic sources into nature in the various forms that can be fixed or stored in the life of mineral, plant and animal kingdoms.

They are so powerful as they are all essence and no ego. All their will is free. We think that a little slip of a sylph is insignificant and has no power but we are wrong there.

We Put Ourselves into Psychological Jail - (2952)

Karmic Psychology

In general when a person breaks the law they can go to jail, depending on the law. Fair enough, that is the law. When they have served their time, they are out, their debt paid and a new life begins. They can live rightfully so as a free person and enjoy life just as much as anyone else. If their psychology co-operates that is. Otherwise the person can psychologically stay in jail continuing to punish themselves, feeling unworthy, guilty, wretched, below society etc.

This psychology of punishing ourselves is what we can call karmic psychology and takes up residence in our psychology when we are paying karma and even after the karma has been paid.

A person can err and not break the law of the country. But none the less that person can him or herself into jail by creating a total downwards change in their psychological structure that lowers, doubts and humiliates themselves.

Many people even feel like this without having made an error in years. This tells us that their version of the karmic psychology is active within them. It also tells us that they created this karmic psychology at some point in the past, because obviously they erred. We have all erred. We can not judge. We don;t even know most of the time how we have erred.

The interesting thing about karmic psychology is that we end up paying our debts but the karmic psychology stays. So we must adapt our psychology to the new state which is a state clear of that debt. Knowing that our debt has been paid we don't have to keep that structure alive anymore of lowering, humiliating, doubting, feeling guilty, anxious, worried, uncomfortable, in life. 

The purpose of that structural set-up of our psychology has been served and it no longer serves a purpose and we must adapt our psychology to suit the new conditions.

Even people after some months in Gnosis develop the symptoms of karmic psychology becasue why? Because their karma accelerates and deep down they know it and their own version of the karmic psychology takes hold from within the subconscious and stays there in the background.

Actively working to pay our karma helps to shift this background state.

The Start to Separation: Do you Agree with the Ego? - (2951)

Check this Out 

Our psychological death or transformation begins in the intellectual centre, then progresses to the emotion and ends in the motor centre, and our liberation begins in the motor center and progresses to the emotion and ends in the intellect.

So our separation from the ego which is a stage in the death of ego begins in our intellect. Got that?

Separate

So then, do you agree with the ego? Do you honestly agree with the way it thinks, with its point of view, with its proposed way of solving things, with its projections, with its actions, with its words, with its pain, with its sense of unfairness, with its needs, etc.

If we honestly find that we do agree with some of the above things from the ego, then separation will be difficult and will require work.

To honesty answer these questions we have to separate ourselves from the ego don't we?

If we have the view that the ego's views, ideas, protests, way of thinking, etc are our ways of thinking, protests, ideas then we can not experience separation, and therefore, progress in our freedom is at a stand still.

First Chamber Lectures - All the Areas to Awaken In - (2950)

We awaken in areas.

There are people very awake and balanced in certain areas of life, but they are unbalanced, out of wack and unaware in other areas of life.

Usually when there is a big ego, we are quite asleep, unbalanced (out of wack) in that areas of life. A person has a rather large "I" of lust means that person is rather asleep in that area.

There are many areas for us to awaken in. The first chamber lectures area essentially areas for us to awaken to.

People are totally unaware of the Law of Karma. So we have to wake up to it. People are mostly unaware of the power of the word, so we must wake up to it. People are aware that we have an essence, a personality and many "I's", people are unaware about life and death so we must awaken to those mysteries, people are unaware of cosmic laws such as return and recurrence so we must wake up to those laws etc.etc.

Of course, by dissolving the ego we begin to wake up in these areas an acquire balance in those areas. But first comes a kind of incipient awakening into those areas and we see that we must dissolve the ego and as we do our awakening in those areas deepen and we arrive closer and closer to balance in those areas.

Do you See Me? or the Image/Concept of Me? - (2949)

We don't really see people. We only see the image or the concept or the belief that we have of them.

We all have everyone inside of our head. Of course not literally but in the form of a concept, an image, a belief etc.

It is this concept, image and or belief that we get angry at, feel hurt by, get upset at etc.

This image or concept or belief is not the person, it is ourselves, it is our own creation. We get upset at ourselves - holy guacamole hey!

Yummy for the Tummy

I assure you if you remove this image, concept, belief, expectation etc. that we have of the other person in our mind then all will change.

Just remove it and see what happens in you!

A Thought as a Gift - (2948)

To the essence all is magical. 

The essence is the one that has a sense of awe.

A thought arises from an unknown origin within us. It is like a gift. Something that comes to us. How magical, it came to us by magic, as if it was brought by invisible hands.

What do we do with this gift? Certainly not waste it, use it, convert it into knowledge of ourselves, convert it into consciousnesses by examining it, working it, transforming it into a tiny spark of wisdom. 

Then we have made good use of this gift, whether it was a nice thought or an ugly thought.

No Rest for the Wicked - (2947)

There is significant truth behind that age old saying.

We can see it on two fronts.

One is that we have so much karma and ego that we can not afford to rest.

The other one is that the poor devil (our own inner Typhon Baphomet) when we are fallen and stuck in the mud of so much ego is always so busy trying to help us to learn how to get out of the ego.

When we have no ego left, the Typhon Baphomet becomes Lucifer and can finally rest, preciosity becasue we are no longer wicked (full of ego).

When we Lack Self-Remembering we Impose that Lack on Others - (2946)

When we lack the remembering of our own Being we actually imposer that others do not remember their own Being as well.

The above usually expresses itself in a disguised way where we expect others to love us deeply as the most important thing in their lives to the point of even hoping that they forget their own Being and put us first before their own Being.

That is not so good...

When a person does not forget their Being and interacts with us they give us their best...

The Duality of Current and Previous Lives - (2945)

There are some interesting paradoxes that go on with our past lives.

The person who is so meek, kind, easy going was not like that at all in the past. The easy going one which many people find agreeable was a terrible previously. And the those that are jolting, jarring, abrupt, rude, arrogant are actually all ok.

Those that are push overs, can't say no and are often taken advantage of were actually quite terrible in the past, and becasue of having done something awful they have created a compensation for that within themselves by swinging over to the other side. This their way of compensating for the past by being the opposite in nature in this life.

So then things are not always the way they seem. The rude, abrupt, jarring person, speak your mind hard and tough, the one that everyone is careful with what they say around them, is a good person in the grand scheme of things, and the meek, 'yes' person, who is flexible, agreeable, no dramas and friendly is the bad guy.

Elementals 5 - Their Evolution - (2944)

Qualities

If we look at the creatures of nature they all have a certain salient quality or qualities which are hard to miss.

How can we miss the determination and cycle closing of salmon? How can we miss the courage and nobility of the lion, the astuteness of the python, how can we miss the fidelity of the swan, how can we miss the diligence and foresight of the squirrel, the special passivity and innocence of the lamb who is taken to slaughter, the tenacity and strength of the bull, the intelligence and playful innocence of the dolphin, the ferocity of the shark, the gregariousness of the Elephant etc.etc. 

All the animals have a salient quality as do many plants, trees and minerals. If we can't see them it is because we have not studied them closely enough or that special quality is not physically visible. 

Each of these qualities represent a psychological quality. So the essences that evolve pass through various states so to acquire the many psychological qualities needed in human life and to achieve the self-realisation as a human being.

Nature is really a store house of wisdom. All the wisdom we need is in nature and that wisdom comes from the Mother, the Divine Mother.

Sphinx

Elemental evolution is to prepare the essence to take human form and to take on the path of the self-realization. One of the many goals of the elemental evolution is to take the elemental (essence) to acquire the qualities of the Sphynx. The courage and strength of the lion, the tenacity and perseverance of the bull, the detachment and yearning of the eagle. Note that these qualities are represented by the superior animals.

There is also the test of the elements and there is the fire, that is present at every turn of the path.

The evolution of the elemental is also to help nature and to help other men to acquire their self-realisation. The human being who knows about the elementals can solicit their services for the realisaton of the human being. In the way of healing, in the way of magic, in the way of knowledge, in the way of wisdom etc.

Elementals 4 - Encountering Them - (2943)

Encounters

As mentioned earlier there are a few different classes of elementals. Those that have physical bodies and those that don't are the major two.

Gnosis teaches that human beings can have an encounter them. That is human beings can benefit from their help and even human beings can see and talk to them.

Master Samael said that the fairy tales, legends and myths are there to prepare children to see the elementals of nature. The many fairy tales and stories open the mind of children to feel, sense and catch a glimpse of the elementals of nature. 

Master Samael says that we really need imagination to be able to perceive the elementals of nature.

He says that the best way to develop imagination is to imagine the life and death of a plant, such as a rose bush, which if we do it well, will culminate in seeing the elemental, which is the essence of the plant, which also confers life-force to the plant.

I recommend the undines for Aussies because Australia is a water country.

When we developed our intellect while having to go to school our possibility and or ability to see them suffered greatly. Also the more concerned we are with material things the less we retain that possibility of seeing the elementals of nature.

The best way I feel is to approach them with love. That is practice with them patiently, consistently  and with love - making them into a friend. The common human being has little love for the elements of nature, and only wishes to command them for their unjust ends.

Gnomes are good for the European countries that are land locked and have
huge mountains and forests. 

If we do see one one day do not be surprised it is takes on a form totally different to the classical form. This is because the elementals are an essence, which is consciousness and formless energy and these classical appearances come from our mind or they themselves use these forms to appear to us as they know humanity sees and believes in them while using that form.

In fact the classical gnome (snow white and the seven dwarfs type) has its origins in Medieval Europe.

Elementals 3 - Elementals and Us - (2942)

Human State

To have arrived at the human state is an achievement of a cosmic order. Because to have our essence inhabiting a human body is is the result of many rounds of evolution. 

Our own essence did not descend straight away into a human body but rather it started off as a mineral, then a vegetable, then a animal then finally a human.

To have arrived at having an essence in a physical body, means that our essence has gone through many cycles of involution and evolution and has numerous lessons through the mineral, plant and animal kingdoms to be fit to live the life of a human being.

In the way of the learning of the essence, the state of the human being sits above the learning of the minerals, plants and animals.

However, this is the ideal case but the human being with the ego has lost its learning.

Microcosmos

The human being is a cosmos. Though a cosmos in miniature. An animal, a tree, a plant a rock is not a cosmos - that is a microcosmos. Only a cosmos, that is to say a microcosmos, a macrocosmos, a mesoscosmos can realise itself, because it contains all the elements that are ever present in the cosmos or universe.

Major Power

The human being by default is a major reckoning power in nature. The human being is poised to be the king of nature. Eventhough, this is reserved for the real human being, the human being in its fallen state still has a tremendous power over nature.

This has been set up that way so the human being can have the opportunity to realise itself. The whole aim of creation is for the Monads, the virginal (without self-realisation and have not entered into creation before) sparks of the Great Fire of Life - the Absolute to get their realization so to enhance and make the Absolute more aware and cognizant of Itself.

The human being is one of the Earth's most vitally important organs. The Earth can not survive without us and we can not survive without it - of course.

As everything is interrelated and connected in a great web, where one element affects all others, co-operation is the correct approach. Not the approach of domination for self interest. Which is the approach of the current human being. 

Elementals and the Human Being

From the esoteric teachings that we have in Gnosis, it is the order of things that the real human being has the right to command the elementals. However, through various magical type of practices those human beings that are not yet real human beings, can in some command the elementals of nature.

The real human being is the human being that has Justice inside of him or her and that justice will not violate the will of the Divine Law (an aspect of God). Such a human being is one that can be trusted.

The elementals of nature can be commanded for unjust or just reasons. Why, you may ask, becasue they simply obey, and being innocent the karma falls on the one who commanded them. 

Because the human being has the ego, the human being can not really relate well with the elementals of nature anymore, and what's more the human being, being asleep can not even see them anymore and ignores that they are there.

The human being seeks to dominate nature, however it is going about it the wrong way. The right way to dominate anything is to know it very well and work with it in balance, respecting the way it functions and lives. If we don't work with it in balance we or it become slaves and then neither one is happy. The way to human being dominates nature is very unbalanced, they just take and take to sell it for the good of their pockets. Terribly one sided, but nature is not one sided it is a huge network.

Elementals 2: More on What - (2941)

Elemental - Essence of a Virginal Spark
Master Samael is pretty clear when speaking about the elementals. 

He essentially says that they are essences whom derive from a virginal spark (does not have self-realisation yet) of the Great Universal Fire of Life. That is, an elemental is an essence, whom has a Monad or a Real Being just as we do.

He says that the essences of the Monads who descended from the Absolute into creation began their presence in creation as mineral elementals in the first round of creation, then as vegetable elementals in the second round, then as animal elementals in the third round, then in the fourth round as human elementals.

The word elemental brings us the idea of the most basic, the simplest state or stage or substance. So that is what an elemental is, an essence which is the simplest part of the Monad, the bare essentials of the Monad.  

So then there are several types of elementals, there are those who have a physical body, whether it be that they belong to the mineral, vegetable, animal or human kingdom and those that do not have a physical body. 

Master Samael says that the elementals of a mineral and or plant is not bound to the physical body, it can move and leave it at will.

Then there are the Devas, the Guru Devas which are those that provide the design and function for the creatures in Nature, in which the elementals inhabit.

The other elementals that do not have a physical body fulfill certain other functions, of which to name are few are to protect sacred places and to act as guardian spirits. 

The elementals are needed in creation, they are the ones that infuse and supply nature with its life force. We obviously need them, if they were to leave then we could not survive.

They are creatures of the Almighty Creator and as such, and unlike us obey its will.

They could easily destroy us if they wanted and we can harm nature as well. So certainly we should not have the idea that they are totally subordinate to us. More about that in the next post.

Elementals 1: Question of What - (2940)

Before I Start

For me this topic is so fascinating, relaxing and heart warming. But some people may see it as just airy fairy time wasting and not taking one to die and awaken.

Well, it all depends on how one takes it. For me, this topic when I take it inside of myself, allows me to see my inner corruption, ugliness and wretchedness. When one sees the purity, the beauty, the innocence of the elementals, the inner urgency to change can not help but powerfully well up inside of oneself.

Such a topic also helps us to understand more of who we are as an essence. It helps to understand the oneness of life, how we are nature are linked in relationship to the oneness of life. This is really an understanding that currently humanity lacks. If only humanity had this understanding, could we help the Earth and look more carefully and considerately after it.

So I hope these posts may do something for you in this regards.

Question of What

A few books have been written about them. Franz Hartman Master Samael said wrote a very interesting book on the elementals, Master Samael also studied this book. It seems that every mage, magician, awakened being related with the elementals of nature. There are so many stories, legends, myths and accounts that show how these special beings came to aid the magician, the mage, the wise man, the medicine man, the traveler of the path, the one seeking the awakening, the maiden in distress, the knight on a quest, the one who loves, the sincere and kind hearted soul who at one time or another called out to them...

Cosmic Beings

The elementals also known as nature spirits are the beings that animate or bring life to nature. 

They do not really belong to the Earth or are of the Earth but are rather cosmic Beings just as our essence is. Master Samael says that our essence has come from the Milky Way.

Life being one, means that the forces of life are relayed from one being to another and certainly these elementals or cosmic beings relay cosmic life forces to and through the four kingdoms of nature.

They are beings who dwell in the fourth dimension. 

They are beings of light, or beings of formless energy who possess special qualities and expertise in the way of wisdom related to the principles and laws of nature.

They are also the energies of nature and the energies of the elements.
