From the outside, remembering our past existences seems rather nostalgic, romantic, interesting and even fascinating. Well only for a while it is interesting, until one day remembering something really shakes you, to the extent of provoking a mini crisis.
How could it be, we are here now in this life a law abiding citizen but before we were not...not at all.

If we were to meet a murderer right now, we would find it so uncomfortable, it would be so awkward, scary even. A statement that Master Samael's Divine Mother made was that: "the past, present and future are one". This really can shock our mind...
The ego that we have now is also the ego that we had in the past - the same one that did some awful things.
The awful things that we have done in the past actually mark our psychology like you wouldn't believe. So much so, that much of the way we are now, is due to one action of the past...
So for good reason we don't remember pour past lives becasue they can easily rock us to the core, provoking uncomfortable crises and mental destabilization.
