To succeed in anything we need to get a grip on our will and focus it and drive it through the focus forward towards the goal.

When we lose our grip on our will we stop still in our tracks. Not becasue we really want to but because our driving engine stalled.

Will allows us to focus. With focus we also see the real. The real of our mind and the real of the physical world. With focus we can grasp and take hold of our will. Focus and will go hand in hand.

We so desperately need to learn how to focus. We have to have that ability to focus. Nothing works otherwise.
