Be in the Interior Mind to be Awakened - (3600)

What is it Really?

So m.m.m says that to be awakened one must go to their interior mind and stay there, and see life's events from there as well as process life's events from there using the psychological and esoteric thinking. Thus leaving behind the sensory mind.

So I tried that and I hit a wall. The wall I can best describe as being the following: "What is the interior mind?".

So I tried to understand what is the interior mind. In this post I am presenting my findings to you. So that if you are hitting the same wall, what I write here maybe useful.

Some Points About the Interior Mind

Lake to Reflect Data

First of all, we know from what Master Samael says, that the interior mind is the mind that functions with the consciousness, and the data from the consciousness is what the interior mind uses to function.

So the interior mind is once a lake that reflects the consciousness. The sensory mind reflects the data from the senses and uses three dimensional logic to analyse and draw conclusions from this data.

The whole fight within us is really m.m.m says between the sensory mind and the inner mind.

Silent

The interior mind is quiet and serene waiting to receive data from the consciousness. The interior mind is not disturbed by the ego. Because it is not the realm of the ego.

The sensory and intermediate minds are disturbed by the ego and drown out the interior mind.

To reach the interior mind we must make the sensory and intermediate minds quiet first.

When we get tot eh inner mind we find it quiet already.

This is because the consciousness is not a mental process or a mental structure. It does not need to be sustained by any kind of thinking.

No Concepts

The inner mind is devastating for sensory life as it does not have any concepts of the physical.

We find that it does not know anything about physical things.

For example, we are holding a pen. Our sensory mind says that is a blue pen and no one can convince us that it is a duck or boat. It is a blue pen. When we go to the inner mind and we ask ourselves: 'do we know what we have in our hand". We won't know what is in our hand.

Go to your inner mind and ask your essence: "Do I know that is a pen?" and you will not find anywhere intrinsically or innately in your own essence that says that this is a pen. We have the concept of it introduced by society into our sensory mind but we don't know it internally within ourselves.

However, within our inner mind we will know the Being, the essence, our psychological processes - that is things that are known by our consciousness.

End (3600).

Attention with Mind, Attention with Essence - (5197)

These two attentions are different. Attention with the mind tires the brain. and reduces the flow of life into steps, where it is inevitable that the narration of the mind begins to take over. With the awareness of steps comes a certain tediousness and the feeling of the flow of life leaving us behind. With the attention of mind very little of what's behind events comes to us... Attention with the essence brings the power of presence, in other words brings a certain depth and continuity of flow  Attention with the essence doesn't tire or strain and opens doorways into perceiving what is behind events and the thoughts and feelings that appear within us. It allows us also to flow with the flow of life, which is a pleasant feeling. Conclusion, make the essence bring attention to outer and inner life. End (5197).

The Sacred Substance Askokin - (962)

Introduction In simple terms, the sacred Askokin substance is the result of the mercury and the sulphur. It is the transmuted energy that crystallises to form the internal bodies (astral, mental and causal). In other words, it is the transmutation of our sexual energies. The Abrustdonis’ and ‘Helkdonis that Gurdjieff mentions in the excerpt below, taken from “Belzeebub’s Tales to His Grandson” are none other than the elements of mercury and the sulphur so spoken about in Alchemy. Excerpt on the Sacred Substance Askokin “I first learned that the destiny of beings arising on this planet of yours is chiefly to elaborate—by means of the process of their existence—the vibrations required by Nature for the maintenance of those former parts of the planet now called Moon and Anulios, when, do you remember, I became worthy personally to converse for the second time with His Conformity the then still Angel, but now Archan...

Wisdom from the Movie “Kingdom of Heaven” - (2168)

Introduction There are some movies that leave you with some pieces of advice that at point or another in your life or in the lives of others prove useful. This movie: “Kingdom of Heaven” was terrible to watch (too many battle scenes and people dying) but offered some very useful messages. In this post, I have presented a few, that have come in handy at point or another. Just to give you a bit of context, the movie is about the crusades, where the French and English were trying to defend the “Holy City” – Jerusalem from Islamic occupation. The topic of religion and God is a constant theme in the movie. It is very violent though, matching it frankly, quite awful to watch. Your Soul is in Your Keeping Alone An interesting dialogue between the French appointed king of Jerusalem and French Knight, the protagonist of the movie. Note, the king wears that metal mask because he has leprosy. King Baldwin I...
