Introduction
Here is a paragraph or two of notes that I jotted down
during an afternoon retreat that my marvellous missionary held a couple of
months ago on Master Samael’s book: “Yes
there is Hell, Yes there is a Devil, Yes there is Karma”.
The notes below show us how our own inner Devil or Typhon
Baphomet or inner Lucifer which is a part of our own Being, is very intimately
related with the development of our consciousness and its capacity to contrast.
This for me was definitely something new.

Devil Flipside of Everything
The devil is the flipside of everything. When we do
something right we touch the negative side of the wrong and when we do
something wrong we touch the positive side of the wrong.
When we contrast something within us we are using the devil.
The devil is the agent or the bringer of every contrast in us. He makes the contrast
possible, because he brings or provokes the opposite value so that our
consciousness can contrast and then choose!
