Knock it on the Head
Sometimes we fall into the trap of waiting for the ego to
get weaker, for it to pass away by itself, or for a certain stage in life to
pass or for circumstances to change. But it just never does, nothing changes
and we continue waiting and hoping.
In such cases the psychological facts within us show us that
the ego is still there bothering us as intensely as always.
The Real Wait is for You
The real wait is the ego waiting for us to get serious and
knock it on the head. Our life, and our future are waiting for us to do this!
Here we have to end the wait. It is up to us, it is our role
to end the wait, it is no one’s else job to do it. It is certainly not the ego’s
job.
An interesting thing is that the Being in us knows that we have the ego and
when the Being decides to dissolve it, we certainly
die in ourselves. None of this happens until we stop waiting and go for it!
