Reason to Dissolve Lust is the Power ‘To Be’- (651)

At the Heart of the Issue of Dissolving Lust

At the heart of the issue of dissolving lust is the ontological, that is – the Being, our Being, your Being, my Being.

Lust uses sexuality and sexual energy in a way that does not allow the special power in sexuality, which is the power ‘to be’ to be enhanced. It expends sexual energy and sexuality outside of oneself giving energy and power to the external side of ourselves, namely our senses and emotions. However, there is a use of sexuality and sexual energy that does exactly the opposite and gives power and energy to ones’ Being, so that one can become more oneself or the Being.

Transmutation with Profound Understanding

Transmutation with the profound understanding of what one is really doing in relation to one’s own Being when transmutes is the biggest and best key to counteract lust.

Even one very respectable master who is very advanced on the path said “that as one transmutes one dies”. This is because one gives more and more power to the Being ‘to be’ and that ‘to be’ of the our Being pushes the ego back and dissolves it.

To feel the tremendous effect of how the transmutation solves our sexual problems (desires etc.) we have to actually transmute. If we don’t transmute we fall into lust, as simple as that.

Ecstasy of Being

In transmutation on the very odd occasion there is the ecstasy of Being, where our transmutation increases the power ‘to be’ and the person feels more of his or her Being within them - the ecstasy of the Being.

Conclusion

In summary, transmutation enhances the power ‘to be’ of ourselves and of our Being.

The reason to dissolve lust is in the Being or is for the Being. It is for us to become more and more ourselves through our Being, which is our true and real nature.

Lust diminishes the power ‘to be’. Lust uses the personality and the external side of nature. Transmutation uses the consciousness and the Being and the inner side of our nature.

End (651).
