To not Give Over the Higher Values for Inferior Ones - (2003)

The Key!

The key is to never let yourself go, to keep hold of yourself no matter what!

This is the principle of not ever falling. To hold one’s alertness, consciousness, remembering of oneself no matter what!

We fail or fall when we let ourselves go. That is when the value of ourselves as an essence belonging to a Divine Being is dropped and something inferior is given the higher value that it simply should not have and does not deserve to have!

We are always the one that holds the value. That value is basically enclosed in faith and in trust. When we believe or hold faith in the right higher values all is fine but when we believe, trust and have faith in the inferior values we get very strong egos, that are so bothersome and difficult to dissolve.

Originates from Alchemy

Amazing, this key is replicated in Alchemy or is it that this key comes from Alchemy?

I think that from the sexuality of the Being (Alchemy) comes the origin of all that is Being, Cosmos, Law, Order, all the keys, laws, principles etc. Master Samael says that the path is the second factor and the other two are there to complement it and assist it.

This principle that comes from Alchemy is one that must prevail through our life. That is holding to the higher values always. Otherwise the absurd happens and we get painful results.

How amazing the principles of the Alchemy really lay down the principles of the whole work. They show us how to work in the awakening of our consciousness, how to work in mystical death and how to sacrifice for humanity.

Examples

Identification

Identification with the ego is the prime example. Because we drop the identity of our own consciousness to take up the identity of one or another nasty ego.

Lust and Fornication

Lust and the ego of losing sexual energy, give far too much value, importance, awe, overbearing fascination with women or men and their body as well to sex.

Giving over too much of their attention, trust, belief, importance people lose their superior values to these egos and make the body or certain body parts and the act of sex more important than themselves and their Being. Which of course is the most absurd thing that we can do, but everyone does it and so it goes unnoticed, we think that it is normal. For esotericism and the work on ourselves it is not normal, it is actually the exact opposite of what we should be doing.

We should be giving ourselves, our consciousness, our well-being, our work, our Being more importance than body parts and sex. The latter two things are fleeting and short, like nothing, and sex if used wrongly harms one in way that far outweighs whatever pleasure one seeks to derive from it.

Greed

With greed people hand over their life to money and of course no one can take any of their money with them when they die. So, such a person with millions in their bank account dies miserably and is reborn poor and the money that they accumulated can not lift them out of their poverty.

Conclusion

Handing over superior values (“feeding pearls to swine”) does not ever at all pay! Most certainly always in the long run it pays with ruination.

End (2003).

Attention with Mind, Attention with Essence - (5197)

These two attentions are different. Attention with the mind tires the brain. and reduces the flow of life into steps, where it is inevitable that the narration of the mind begins to take over. With the awareness of steps comes a certain tediousness and the feeling of the flow of life leaving us behind. With the attention of mind very little of what's behind events comes to us... Attention with the essence brings the power of presence, in other words brings a certain depth and continuity of flow  Attention with the essence doesn't tire or strain and opens doorways into perceiving what is behind events and the thoughts and feelings that appear within us. It allows us also to flow with the flow of life, which is a pleasant feeling. Conclusion, make the essence bring attention to outer and inner life. End (5197).

The Sacred Substance Askokin - (962)

Introduction In simple terms, the sacred Askokin substance is the result of the mercury and the sulphur. It is the transmuted energy that crystallises to form the internal bodies (astral, mental and causal). In other words, it is the transmutation of our sexual energies. The Abrustdonis’ and ‘Helkdonis that Gurdjieff mentions in the excerpt below, taken from “Belzeebub’s Tales to His Grandson” are none other than the elements of mercury and the sulphur so spoken about in Alchemy. Excerpt on the Sacred Substance Askokin “I first learned that the destiny of beings arising on this planet of yours is chiefly to elaborate—by means of the process of their existence—the vibrations required by Nature for the maintenance of those former parts of the planet now called Moon and Anulios, when, do you remember, I became worthy personally to converse for the second time with His Conformity the then still Angel, but now Archan...

Wisdom from the Movie “Kingdom of Heaven” - (2168)

Introduction There are some movies that leave you with some pieces of advice that at point or another in your life or in the lives of others prove useful. This movie: “Kingdom of Heaven” was terrible to watch (too many battle scenes and people dying) but offered some very useful messages. In this post, I have presented a few, that have come in handy at point or another. Just to give you a bit of context, the movie is about the crusades, where the French and English were trying to defend the “Holy City” – Jerusalem from Islamic occupation. The topic of religion and God is a constant theme in the movie. It is very violent though, matching it frankly, quite awful to watch. Your Soul is in Your Keeping Alone An interesting dialogue between the French appointed king of Jerusalem and French Knight, the protagonist of the movie. Note, the king wears that metal mask because he has leprosy. King Baldwin I...
