When the ego next flares up tell yourself: “I will be fine
and happy without that ego”.
We can use the understanding of this point to put in the hard effort to voluntarily stop the ego it and work on that ego and bare the difficulty and pain of it until we make it weaker and weaker.
We are certainly not going to feel lacking, low, lost,
missing out on something, upset, abandoned, hurt, offended etc. etc.

To use the understanding of this point effectively we need to drill deep into our psychology, that is into our understanding then our consciousness.
