One can have an encounter with one's fear of blood and catch from it, some deep reasons why it lives in your interior.
Basically the reason why it is still alive in our interior is because of a misunderstanding.
Blood is the Fluid of Life
Blood is the fluid of life, it nourishes our whole organism, it allows the vital prana that we absorb from the universe to circulate through our whole body and in doing so it makes up our vitality and builds upon it.
In a very esoteric sense blood is also fire, it is like blood has to do with the fire of life, and fire is related with the Divine Mother, the Intimate Christ and the Third Logos.
Fear of Blood
So, then back to the fear of blood, we feel the typical symptoms of fear only really when see blood and when we see blood it is because it is outside of our body.
The typical symptoms of a deep fear are dizziness, disorientation, anxiety, restlessness, nausea, racing heart, breathing difficulty, cold sweat, sweaty palms of our hands and even fainting.
We all always have blood within us and we are certainly not scared of it, what are scared of is the consequences of he loss of our blood.
Feel Life is Leaving Us and We Can't Get it Back
We feel that we are losing life, and we will not get that life back again. But the truth is that we are not going to lose life if we lose a bit of blood. We can even receive more blood back in return from a blood bank.
I think that human beings can even donate up to a litre of blood and still be all ok. Even esoterically we do not fall if we lose blood or donate blood. But the sexual energy if we lose it we fall.
Blood is very important and certainly if we loose too much of it we do die.
Concluding Remarks
Understanding all of these things and the connection that we have in our psyche that says that losing blood is to loose our life and the possibility of getting our life back, we can set up within ourselves a better understanding which can actually quite successfully be used to combat this fear. We too also have to inject trust into our system by knowing that losing blood is not a spiritual fall, the body will replace it and that with the help of our Being we can make more blood of a richer quality.
I say the last statement because Master Samael says that the blood of the causal body is the blood of the Being and it is made with prayer, contemplation and meditation in the Being. He says that the blood of the causal body is the blood of the Being because in the causal is where we have our Being, i.e. the human soul.
When we work on this fear, the symptoms stop and a kind of appreciation and love for blood and its spiritual or esoteric significance is rises up in us and the avoidance and dizziness of seeing it is replaced with a kind of enthusiasm and gratitude to see it, so that it can be seen to appreciate it. But only when the chance arrives. If one goes deliberately to look at blood that is a very weird ego there in action.
