If we are in pain, acting nobly becomes a faint possibility.
Just as when we are sick, we tend to get impatient and or lethargic.
If we take offence to something that a person says to us, and
the next moment the same person asks for help, we are most likely to not respond
co-cooperatively.
It is imperative to know how to separate our psychological
pain from ourselves to be able to act nobly.
Separating your pain is a learnt and practiced skill or
ability. It is a function of our own consciousness and we have to work at it
for our consciousness to learn and develop that.
End (2657).
