Easy! If there is an ego you are wanting to dissolve, to aid your progress, begin to firmly, consciously and voluntarily cultivate the opposite of it.
As soon as you begin to take steps to cultivate the opposite the target ego will appear offering resistance.
Then there you have it, right in front of you to grind down with observation, separation, understanding, repentance and elimination.
