Are you a blurter? Well sometimes. About 8 out of ten times blurting has consequences that we would rather not have.
When in an argument or discussion, 8 out of 10 times it is much much better to stay calm and refrain from blurting.
Say what you have to say in a dignified manner, clear, to the point but smooooothed out. I mean, all the roughness removed: no jagged tones, reasonable volume and the bitter ill-will boiled off. Then you have something palatable for your listener to respond to in an equally dignified manner.
So I am realizing that and containing the blurting and it makes a difference!
End (3416).
