To Write a Book - (6058)

Don't write a book for money - write it becasue you want to and are inspired by the topic.

We can write a book solely for money but it won't be much fun. We'll experience writer's block.

If we start a book we have to finish it. There are so many people who have started writing a book...

Write it for yourself and for others. Stay in the belief of it being useful. If we lose that belief we will stop writing.

Write it for the future as a record and towards a higher good. To have knowledge scribed is precious.

Write it as a gift, that way it will be internally rewarding and a work of love.

What good is the knowledge and understanding that life and our work has allowed us to learn and not be able to pass it on?

Wisdom from the Movie “Kingdom of Heaven” - (2168)

Introduction There are some movies that leave you with some pieces of advice that at point or another in your life or in the lives of others prove useful. This movie: “Kingdom of Heaven” was terrible to watch (too many battle scenes and people dying) but offered some very useful messages. In this post, I have presented a few, that have come in handy at point or another. Just to give you a bit of context, the movie is about the crusades, where the French and English were trying to defend the “Holy City” – Jerusalem from Islamic occupation.
