Essence: Some Interesting Qualities to Know About - (1205)

Introduction

This post contains some interesting bits of information about the essence that one does not usually or easily come across.

Feeling of the Free Essence

I am having trouble finding it but Master Samael says somewhere in the Quinto Evangelio that the feeling of Being is like the feeling of the Essence. They are practically the same he says.

Which for us means something grandiose. In that if we want to know how our Being feels we can know by activating our essence and observing how our essence feels.

We know that the way our essence feels is a joy to be alive. Sickness, weakness, pessimism, fear, distrust, suspicion etc. do not play a part.

Essence is Logoic,

In the Pistis Sophia Unveiled Master Samael tells us that the essence is logoic. Meaning that the essence is a unity, because the logos is a perfect multiple unity Master Samael says.

The essence being logoic also means that it contains the three primary forces, meaning that it can create, and create it can.

Values of the Being Deposited in the Essence

What the following excerpt from Master Samael says is that the values of the Being which are laws, principles, powers, faculties, virtues etc. are crystallised or deposited into our essence. Meaning that the more free essence we have, the more the values of our Being can be crystallised into our interior, our psyche and our essence (all the same thing). Meaning that our Being needs that we have free essence so that He can crystallise himself into.

English Excerpt

“What the soul? The soul is a product, rather, a sum of Virtues, Laws, Powers, etc.; that, as we go breaking down all our psychological defects, it crystallizes within our interior, within our animic essence ... 􀀇 ... soul. That is why the Christ said:

"In patience you will possess your soul" ...

When one comes to possess their soul, one also has all the gifts and powers of the Soul; and what other thing of the soul is crystallized in a man, in a human body? It is what is called in the East, the "Bodhicitta".

These DIVINE CRYSTALLIZATIONS MIXED WITH THE ESSENCE, is the Bodhicitta. A man who has the Bodhicitta inside himself, is an Awakened Man; He is a man who can travel outside the body with Bodhicitta through infinity; this is a man who can travel through time (backward and forward); this is a man who can study the history of nature, the history of the Earth and its races in the living Akashic Records of Nature.

So, it is well worth crystallising the Bodhicitta inside of us. But for this we must disintegrate the psychic aggregates; and it is only possible to disintegrate them BASED ON CONSCIOUS WORKS AND VOLUNTARY SUFFERINGS.”

The trapped essence needing to be lashed by Mystical Death.

Essence According to the Alchemists

Quoting directly from Master Samael, El Quinto Evangelio, page 779, the Alchemists gave the terms ‘incorporeal salt that is inflammable and perfect’ to the essence. In other words, the alchemical salt that has no body, that is like spirit, is pristine is nature and can not be lost and is not affected by fire of any kind. I thought I would put this in, just as an interesting side point.

English Excerpt

“Essence, in strictly Alchemical terms, we could say: INCORPOREAL SALT, INFLAMMABLE and PERFECT.

She is precisely the directing factor of our whole psyche, the basic factor; to speak clearer, disgracefully it is bottled, it is stuck in the animal figures of the ego, among all those inhuman aggregates that we possess in our interior.

Being so engrossed, it is obvious that she processes herself by virtue of her own conditioning and this is lamentable, she sleeps profoundly.”

End (1205).

Attention with Mind, Attention with Essence - (5197)

These two attentions are different. Attention with the mind tires the brain. and reduces the flow of life into steps, where it is inevitable that the narration of the mind begins to take over. With the awareness of steps comes a certain tediousness and the feeling of the flow of life leaving us behind. With the attention of mind very little of what's behind events comes to us... Attention with the essence brings the power of presence, in other words brings a certain depth and continuity of flow  Attention with the essence doesn't tire or strain and opens doorways into perceiving what is behind events and the thoughts and feelings that appear within us. It allows us also to flow with the flow of life, which is a pleasant feeling. Conclusion, make the essence bring attention to outer and inner life. End (5197).

The Sacred Substance Askokin - (962)

Introduction In simple terms, the sacred Askokin substance is the result of the mercury and the sulphur. It is the transmuted energy that crystallises to form the internal bodies (astral, mental and causal). In other words, it is the transmutation of our sexual energies. The Abrustdonis’ and ‘Helkdonis that Gurdjieff mentions in the excerpt below, taken from “Belzeebub’s Tales to His Grandson” are none other than the elements of mercury and the sulphur so spoken about in Alchemy. Excerpt on the Sacred Substance Askokin “I first learned that the destiny of beings arising on this planet of yours is chiefly to elaborate—by means of the process of their existence—the vibrations required by Nature for the maintenance of those former parts of the planet now called Moon and Anulios, when, do you remember, I became worthy personally to converse for the second time with His Conformity the then still Angel, but now Archan...

Wisdom from the Movie “Kingdom of Heaven” - (2168)

Introduction There are some movies that leave you with some pieces of advice that at point or another in your life or in the lives of others prove useful. This movie: “Kingdom of Heaven” was terrible to watch (too many battle scenes and people dying) but offered some very useful messages. In this post, I have presented a few, that have come in handy at point or another. Just to give you a bit of context, the movie is about the crusades, where the French and English were trying to defend the “Holy City” – Jerusalem from Islamic occupation. The topic of religion and God is a constant theme in the movie. It is very violent though, matching it frankly, quite awful to watch. Your Soul is in Your Keeping Alone An interesting dialogue between the French appointed king of Jerusalem and French Knight, the protagonist of the movie. Note, the king wears that metal mask because he has leprosy. King Baldwin I...
