Introduction
Here are two things that we do with our mind that actually
really harm us.
Replay Offence Over and Over
If someone offends us, they really only did it once. Well if
we are smart we won’t let it happen again. But when it comes to our mind we are
not that smart. We replay it and replay it and feel hurt each time we replay it in
our mind. Crazy hey? they hit us once but we hit ourselves 40 times over. I’m trying not to hit the rewind and play buttons in my
mind.
So who really hurts us then? The person who offends us for 5 seconds and its all over or own ourselves who replay the offence 35 times over?

We with our mind are just as crazy as this lady, risking the physical body just to touch a great white who couldn't care less! |
Argue with Others or Fantasise about Arguing When We Hate Arguing
I don’t know about you, but I don’t like arguments, I am not
sure what to do really, stay quiet or speak out or go for the balance, a bit of a
combination silence and speak out, or just state facts and transform the rest. But that’s not the
point, the point is that we don’t like arguments yet we can argue and argue
with others in our mind for many minutes and even create many fantasies about
arguing and of course we always win those arguments in our fantasies don’t we?
In real life though it may be the opposite, that we lose them all or we stay quiet and try to transform it all (big mistake when we take it all and don’t transform it because the next argument is the one where you lose control), maintaining some separation while smiling inside when invoking the understanding that it is better to be free than right.

End (1211).
