What we Violently Give Up we are Forever Bound to - (1934)

What do you Reckon?

It seems about right. Most of what I have given up without comprehension has worked out this way. I don’t know about you?

This does not mean just go back to what you have given up!

Rejection Devoid of Comprehension

It just means that the freedom that we think we have from what we have given up may not be as great as we think that it is if we gave that something up very violently, by the sheer force of rejection devoid of comprehension.

If we have violently given something up it may well swing by the Law of Pendulum back to us.

The force of which we gave something up enters into our subconscious if we gave it up without comprehension. That force stays there a while and transforms into the opposite and then surfaces. The subconscious remember is mostly the opposite of the conscious. The subconscious breeds the opposite.

End (1934).
