Our Problem – When Times are Tough we don’t Work - (767)

Introduction

The problem that we can fall into and I have certainly observed it in myself, is that when the times in our life get difficult we actually work less. We tend to embrace distraction as a solution more than the work on yourself as a solution.

Dig In

So when the times get tough the best from much experience is to dig in and work on yourself, or do a practice of some sort, whether just be to sit down and chant OM for 15 minutes or do a simple Rune.

The tendency is to not do anything at all, just to think that our system will somehow fix it up or that it will pass. True it will pass but it will take a lot longer and it will come back again and most of the time by not working we make it stronger and when it comes back it is worse than before.

Conclusion

You know sometimes that when we have tough times they are due to a lack of work in the first place or that those troublesome internal states can be easily gotten rid of by doing a few practices. This makes a huge difference, as a practice raises our level of Being and changes our state of consciousness and the ego that is giving us trouble can not reach us so readily and we have some freedom from it and we see things in a different way and we are much clearer than before.

End (768).
