Purgatory

The seeds of the ego are something quite interesting. For instance when one eliminates the seeds of the ego or fries them in the second mountain, the seven capital egos are still alive (only just) and need to be eliminated.

The seeds of the seven capital egos are fried in the second mountain in a special stage of the second mountain called purgatory.

Particular

The seeds of the ego are particular, meaning they are different for every person. The seeds of the ego are not the ego but they are certain elements which can cause the ego or rather have caused the ego to develop. In the stage of purgatory there are at least 7 seeds that have to be fried.

Store the Potential for Egoic Growth

So in everyone’s case the seeds of the ego have caused the seven capital sins or egos to sprout and grow.

For example with lust the seed of lust could have something to do with being considerate, polite and charitable to people of the opposite sex.

Not the Ego

The seeds of the ego are not the ego, but within them is the potential to create and in time make that start of the ego to develop into the ego.

Attention with Mind, Attention with Essence - (5197)

These two attentions are different. Attention with the mind tires the brain. and reduces the flow of life into steps, where it is inevitable that the narration of the mind begins to take over. With the awareness of steps comes a certain tediousness and the feeling of the flow of life leaving us behind. With the attention of mind very little of what's behind events comes to us... Attention with the essence brings the power of presence, in other words brings a certain depth and continuity of flow Attention with the essence doesn't tire or strain and opens doorways into perceiving what is behind events and the thoughts and feelings that appear within us. Wisdom from the Movie “Kingdom of Heaven” - (2168)

Introduction There are some movies that leave you with some pieces of advice that at point or another in your life or in the lives of others prove useful. This movie: “Kingdom of Heaven” was terrible to watch (too many battle scenes and people dying) but offered some very useful messages.
