Rejection, Unity, Creation and Balance - (801)

Introduction

Sometimes I wonder what would Master Samael feel if everyone abandoned him and rejected him. If all the masters of the white lodge and the human beings turned their back on him, what would he feel?

(A very silly thing to think because why would the Masters of the white Lodge reject such a Being or Master in the first place, human beings could reject him because they have many “I’s” that accept and reject, but for argument's sake lets go with it.)

The answer is that I am not completely sure, I can only imagine that in such a Master that has no ego, he would not feel as the ego feels. Such a Master has his Being and is one or very close to his Being, and the Being is one with the absolute and all the other Beings. So where would really the rejection be?

No Rejection at the Deepest Levels of Being

It seems that at the very deepest levels of the Being there can be no rejection and therefore no rejection can be felt. So if such a Master lives very deeply inside him or herself which, I imagine the awakened people do, that abyss of separation or pain of rejection would not be felt or even perceived. Mind you this is at the very deep levels of the Being.

Rejection at the Outer Levels of Being and Creation

It seems that on the very outer or surface levels of creation there is separation and a huge multiplicity of things and people and so then there is rejection or separation (it appears that there is but in the very depths it doesn’t exist). The same applies within ourselves , that is at the very outer level or surface of ourselves which is the level of personality and the mind there is then rejection, abandonment and the pain of being rejected, or in other words rejection and abandonment are perceived.

Personality and Mind Perceive Rejection

So in short then, our mind and our personality perceive rejection but because we live by these two elements or we live identified as them, we feel rejected and abandoned and we feel the pain of rejection. So the solution is to live deeper within ourselves, that is closer to our unity, closer to our Being where there is unity with all the other Beings.

Story of Creation

Even when we look at the story of creation we find that the Absolute vomited the Monads that had unbalanced the three Gunas, so in a way the Absolute rejected those Monads from its inner circle and placed them in the outer layers, which is creation or manifestation. So really the self-realisation is about curing that initial rejection, recapturing that unity that was lost.

Balance and Conclusion

So every rejection has a cause, which is essentially because what we are, or what we express or manifest is not inline with the principles or rules of what rejects us. That is always why we get rejected. There was an unbalance or lack of harmony in relation to what rejects us. I wonder if we are in harmony totally within ourselves can we be rejected? Perhaps we could but we would not feel rejected. It seems that we can always get rejected while we are in creation, but the more important thing is feeling rejected - that we can change or be in charge of.

Attention with Mind, Attention with Essence - (5197)

These two attentions are different. Attention with the mind tires the brain. and reduces the flow of life into steps, where it is inevitable that the narration of the mind begins to take over. With the awareness of steps comes a certain tediousness and the feeling of the flow of life leaving us behind. With the attention of mind very little of what's behind events comes to us... Attention with the essence brings the power of presence, in other words brings a certain depth and continuity of flow  Attention with the essence doesn't tire or strain and opens doorways into perceiving what is behind events and the thoughts and feelings that appear within us. It allows us also to flow with the flow of life, which is a pleasant feeling. Conclusion, make the essence bring attention to outer and inner life. End (5197).

The Sacred Substance Askokin - (962)

Introduction In simple terms, the sacred Askokin substance is the result of the mercury and the sulphur. It is the transmuted energy that crystallises to form the internal bodies (astral, mental and causal). In other words, it is the transmutation of our sexual energies. The Abrustdonis’ and ‘Helkdonis that Gurdjieff mentions in the excerpt below, taken from “Belzeebub’s Tales to His Grandson” are none other than the elements of mercury and the sulphur so spoken about in Alchemy. Excerpt on the Sacred Substance Askokin “I first learned that the destiny of beings arising on this planet of yours is chiefly to elaborate—by means of the process of their existence—the vibrations required by Nature for the maintenance of those former parts of the planet now called Moon and Anulios, when, do you remember, I became worthy personally to converse for the second time with His Conformity the then still Angel, but now Archan...

Wisdom from the Movie “Kingdom of Heaven” - (2168)

Introduction There are some movies that leave you with some pieces of advice that at point or another in your life or in the lives of others prove useful. This movie: “Kingdom of Heaven” was terrible to watch (too many battle scenes and people dying) but offered some very useful messages. In this post, I have presented a few, that have come in handy at point or another. Just to give you a bit of context, the movie is about the crusades, where the French and English were trying to defend the “Holy City” – Jerusalem from Islamic occupation. The topic of religion and God is a constant theme in the movie. It is very violent though, matching it frankly, quite awful to watch. Your Soul is in Your Keeping Alone An interesting dialogue between the French appointed king of Jerusalem and French Knight, the protagonist of the movie. Note, the king wears that metal mask because he has leprosy. King Baldwin I...
