The Remedy for Anger has Much to do with the Faculty of Imagination – (2414)

Blinded by Anger

The above three words say it all. When we are angry we lose our ability to imagine the consequences or the effects of being angry. If we are to not lose our imagination it would be difficult for anger to get the better of us.

Anger is largely debilitated by imagination. That is why the trick of looking in the mirror helps to displace anger. Hearing ourselves being angry, touching our aggravated body, is not as effective as seeing ourselves being angry.
The best remedy to anger is to delay and to channel the evoked force of anger into imagination, seeing the consequences, the effects, the solution, the right proportion of things, duality etc. etc.
End (2414).
