Different Indeed
Jealousy is all about relationships, usually quite close relationships.
Envy is about the success of others in a filed that we are
also interested in.
Envy is purely about comparison and relatively in relation
to progress and success ion a certain area we are also interested and involved
in.
Jealousy has to do with love, fear of abandonment, betrayal,
rivalry, competition. There is also a degree of comparison etc. but not at all
as great as it is in envy.
