Third Logos Excerpts – Third Logos in the Cosmic Sense of Creation – (1114)

Introduction

In this excerpt Master Samael describes how the Third Logos is at the centre of cosmic creation and therefore at the centre of any creation.

At the Cosmic Dawn of Creation

“The cross also reveals the quadrature of the circle which is the key of perpetual movement. That perpetual movement is only possible through the sexual force of the Third Logos. Perpetual movement will finish and the cosmic unhingement could happen if the energy of the Third Logos would stop flowing in the Universe. The Third Logos organizes the fundamental vortex of every rising Universe, and the infinitesimal vertex of the ulterior atom of any creation.

When life dawned, when the dawn of creation commenced, the First Logos called the Third Logos and he said unto him, "Go and fecundate your spouse in order for existence to begin." He then started to work with the seven Spirits before the Throne, and the army of the Voice. Then the Masonic Rituals were performed and the chaotic matter became fecundated. The Matripadma was fecundated and the universe came into existence.  Each one of the seven Cosmocreators emanated from itself the two souls, the feminine Buddhi Soul and masculine Causal Soul, which are symbolized by the constellation of Pisces.

These two souls, husband and wife, practised a transcendental Maithuna. She separated the superior waters from the inferior waters in order for the waters to be fecundated by the fire. They were projecting these waters by means of the Verb. Then, the germs of the Matripadma proliferated, the Matripadma swelled like a lotus flower, and thus fructifying, a Cosmos was born.

It is also the number of the Third Logos that dominates all forms of creation. It is the rhythm of the Creator.”

The Holy Spirit Fecundated the Great Mother

“In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him, and without him was not anything made, that was made. In him was life, and the life is the light of men. - John 1:1
The Word made the waters of life fertile and caused the universe in its germinal state to splendidly emerge within the dawn.
The Holy Spirit fecundated the Great Mother, then the Christ, the Second Logos was born. The Christ, the Second Logos, is always the Son of the Virgin Mother.
She is always virginal before childbirth, during childbirth, and after childbirth. She is Isis, Mary, Adonia, Insoberta, Rhea, Cybele, etc.
She is the primitive Chaos, the primordial substance, the raw matter of the Great Work.
The Cosmic Christ is the Army of the Great Word, and He is always born in the worlds, and is crucified in each one of them, in order for all the beings to have life, and to have that life in abundance.
The Holy Spirit is the maker of Light. “And God said, let there be light, and the light was.” The esoteric meaning of this is, “It was, because He said it.””

End (1114).

Attention with Mind, Attention with Essence - (5197)

These two attentions are different. Attention with the mind tires the brain. and reduces the flow of life into steps, where it is inevitable that the narration of the mind begins to take over. With the awareness of steps comes a certain tediousness and the feeling of the flow of life leaving us behind. With the attention of mind very little of what's behind events comes to us... Attention with the essence brings the power of presence, in other words brings a certain depth and continuity of flow  Attention with the essence doesn't tire or strain and opens doorways into perceiving what is behind events and the thoughts and feelings that appear within us. It allows us also to flow with the flow of life, which is a pleasant feeling. Conclusion, make the essence bring attention to outer and inner life. End (5197).

The Sacred Substance Askokin - (962)

Introduction In simple terms, the sacred Askokin substance is the result of the mercury and the sulphur. It is the transmuted energy that crystallises to form the internal bodies (astral, mental and causal). In other words, it is the transmutation of our sexual energies. The Abrustdonis’ and ‘Helkdonis that Gurdjieff mentions in the excerpt below, taken from “Belzeebub’s Tales to His Grandson” are none other than the elements of mercury and the sulphur so spoken about in Alchemy. Excerpt on the Sacred Substance Askokin “I first learned that the destiny of beings arising on this planet of yours is chiefly to elaborate—by means of the process of their existence—the vibrations required by Nature for the maintenance of those former parts of the planet now called Moon and Anulios, when, do you remember, I became worthy personally to converse for the second time with His Conformity the then still Angel, but now Archan...

Wisdom from the Movie “Kingdom of Heaven” - (2168)

Introduction There are some movies that leave you with some pieces of advice that at point or another in your life or in the lives of others prove useful. This movie: “Kingdom of Heaven” was terrible to watch (too many battle scenes and people dying) but offered some very useful messages. In this post, I have presented a few, that have come in handy at point or another. Just to give you a bit of context, the movie is about the crusades, where the French and English were trying to defend the “Holy City” – Jerusalem from Islamic occupation. The topic of religion and God is a constant theme in the movie. It is very violent though, matching it frankly, quite awful to watch. Your Soul is in Your Keeping Alone An interesting dialogue between the French appointed king of Jerusalem and French Knight, the protagonist of the movie. Note, the king wears that metal mask because he has leprosy. King Baldwin I...
