Introduction
Sometimes there comes a time where one or two or even a
small tight-knit group of egos appear in our psychological country for a ‘do or
die’ type of show down.
These are difficult times for us. Because we know deep down
that if we go with these egos sooner or later we are going to crash and burn in
the work and or the path.
We have to Triumph!
There is No Other Option!
Except that of succumbing and surrendering our fate to
wherever that ego may take us. Obviously, further and further away from the work,
the path and our Being and into a maze with many dark corners, much sufferings and
complications and maybe after a long, slow and windy path, we may be guided back
to the work again. Returning weak and feeble with faint rememberings, resembling
a candle about to go out but kept alight by the power of some magic grace (as
it happens when after some years a person returns to Gnosis – half worn out by
suffering). But who can guarantee that this will be our case? There is no other
option but to triumph!
Triumph Day by Day
If we can break our triumph down into a day at a time it
makes our effort easier.
Work to seek the triumph in the day. Eventually the triumph
in a day which is a mini life starts to become triumph in our life!
The triumph in a day shines rays of hope out into our
interior to extend the triumph outwards to embrace our whole life.
If we can triumph in a day why can’t we triumph in life, because
after all isn’t our life made up of days?
This can be applied to any endeavour not just working on an
ego, it can be applied to keeping our essence active and awake for example.
Sincere Efforts Reward Us in the Same Day
Sometimes it is very difficult in the morning and we come
close to saying something or doing something but we manage to keep our line of
good conduct (inside is another story though). Our sincere efforts to do this
come to pay off at night bringing peace to our interior with that ego
disappearing leaving us to transform very easily any impressions that come from
that environment that in the morning caused us grief.
End (1107).
