Better to Rectify our Errors Because it is Easier to be Forgiven for Being Stupid than for being Dishonest or Worse - (1820)

AN Interesting Learning

I was watching TV last night and learnt this from the series “Death in Paradise”. The chief detective or inspector – the clumsy English guy, secretly stopped his assistant from leaving St. Marie (a small Caribbean island) to go to Paris to work as an undercover detective.

She did not know, however in the end he came clean and said to her: “my father always told me that it is better to right your wrongs because it is easier to be forgiven for being stupid than for being dishonest”.

How true is that! This is a new mini spark of truth. It is really true! So next time something happens I am going to remember it and put it straight into practice!

Some Interesting Quotes

Here are some interesting quotes to read over regarding honesty.

End (1820).
