Deeper Key to Comprehend What Lust is About - (6063)

Lust is about realising the yearning to be in union with love.

We all have this yearning in our essence and our essence fulfills this yearning. The way of union is always something sexual.

There is a part of our essence that loves and wants to be united in love and with love.

It is this part of our essence that when it gets trapped or conditioned acts in a way we in society would call 'lustful'.

This part of essence that wants to love seeks for ways to be united in love. Of course it will naturally look at sexual union as that is the deepest and most complete way to find union. There are also other kinds of union such as devotion which is a very emotional type of union.

An observation that we can make is that when we are single this part of our essence is very active seeking, when we are in relationship and love and happiness is lacking this part becomes active again seeking. When a relationship ends this part again becomes very active. When we are in a relationship and we feel insecure or doubt the presence of love this part also becomes very active.

When people are unhappy, idle or bored or resentful this part of the essence comes to act, as it is it's right calling to do so. It appears to help us find love because we know that love brings happiness, fulfillment and love will wash away boredom, aimlessness, ailments and resentment.

Lust works towards the realisation of this yearning through both the sexual and emotional centres. Sometimes more in one than the other.

The remedy key here is to find love within us and unite consciously with it. We can unite both emotionally and sexually. There is loving sexually and there is also loving emotionally. The key is unite  and love consciously.

To love others and our Inner Being both emotionally and sexually. If we are in relationship we can do both if not we can do it remarkably well with our Inner Being.

To consciously unite sexually and emotionally through union with our Inner Being is done by sending by sending heart-felt love along with our transmuted sexual energy. Which we can transmute with the many practices that combine breathing and mantra.

The "I" of lust is a part of the essence devoted to fulfilling this yearning, however this part of essence has been put into a bottle or conditioned to go about fulfilling the yearning to be united with love in a set way. This set way we call lust as it not conscious and can often cause ourselves and others some  emotional suffering.

When people watch pornography they are trying to partake in the realising of the union with love, by identifying with those in the film that are realising that yearning. The viewer witnesses the acceptance of others into that union and in witnessing that the viewer through identification is able to simulate the emotion of the realising of that yearning.

Often people who don't love have what we could call a strong lust. Because they are looking for what they don't have which is love.

Attention with Mind, Attention with Essence - (5197)

These two attentions are different. Attention with the mind tires the brain. and reduces the flow of life into steps, where it is inevitable that the narration of the mind begins to take over. With the awareness of steps comes a certain tediousness and the feeling of the flow of life leaving us behind. With the attention of mind very little of what's behind events comes to us... Attention with the essence brings the power of presence, in other words brings a certain depth and continuity of flow  Attention with the essence doesn't tire or strain and opens doorways into perceiving what is behind events and the thoughts and feelings that appear within us. It allows us also to flow with the flow of life, which is a pleasant feeling. Conclusion, make the essence bring attention to outer and inner life. End (5197).

The Sacred Substance Askokin - (962)

Introduction In simple terms, the sacred Askokin substance is the result of the mercury and the sulphur. It is the transmuted energy that crystallises to form the internal bodies (astral, mental and causal). In other words, it is the transmutation of our sexual energies. The Abrustdonis’ and ‘Helkdonis that Gurdjieff mentions in the excerpt below, taken from “Belzeebub’s Tales to His Grandson” are none other than the elements of mercury and the sulphur so spoken about in Alchemy. Excerpt on the Sacred Substance Askokin “I first learned that the destiny of beings arising on this planet of yours is chiefly to elaborate—by means of the process of their existence—the vibrations required by Nature for the maintenance of those former parts of the planet now called Moon and Anulios, when, do you remember, I became worthy personally to converse for the second time with His Conformity the then still Angel, but now Archan...

Wisdom from the Movie “Kingdom of Heaven” - (2168)

Introduction There are some movies that leave you with some pieces of advice that at point or another in your life or in the lives of others prove useful. This movie: “Kingdom of Heaven” was terrible to watch (too many battle scenes and people dying) but offered some very useful messages. In this post, I have presented a few, that have come in handy at point or another. Just to give you a bit of context, the movie is about the crusades, where the French and English were trying to defend the “Holy City” – Jerusalem from Islamic occupation. The topic of religion and God is a constant theme in the movie. It is very violent though, matching it frankly, quite awful to watch. Your Soul is in Your Keeping Alone An interesting dialogue between the French appointed king of Jerusalem and French Knight, the protagonist of the movie. Note, the king wears that metal mask because he has leprosy. King Baldwin I...
