Notes for Successful Intimate Psycho Analysis
Introduction
Here are some notes to assist with the practice intimate psychological analysis as Master Samael called it.
What is it and What is it for
Intimate psychoanalysis is a tool used in the psychological work.
It is used to assist in the dissolution of a psychological "I" or aggregate.
It is practiced ideally in a concentrated or meditative state introducing a series of questions that are aimed at dismantling the falsities and illusions presented by the psychological: "I".
One of the results of psychoanalysis is to provide insight so to apprehend the nature of the psychological "I" and to understand how and why it functions.
When Used
Analysis is used when the ego appears to us as very difficult to work on. When the ergo seems just so huge and almost undefeatable.
Analysis itself is a function of death, it decomposes and breaks things down. It has synthesis as an opposite.
The ray of Death is like analysis, it dismantles and subtracts until only the very essential is left. Where as life is like synthesis which is the bringing together of diverse elements to produce a summary which can be worked with to move forward with.
Analysis is to break something apart into its components. When we see something broken down into its parts the fear, the mystery, the invincibility of that something disappears.
Analysis allows us to see and understand how each part functions to make up the functions of the whole.
It's most essential use is to break illusions.
It is also used to better know what is going on.
There are many levels of analysis within us. Such as analysing the past, analaysing the centres, analysing the workings of the "I" to determine what it really wants from analysing it's thinking, feeling and doing.
This is very similar to the way it appears in human life where we have many types of analysis such as: overall analysis, detailed analysis, cause and effect analysis, functional analysis, cost analysis, risk analysis etc.
Analysis is used to break the hypnotic grip and open the mind up to the change.
Analysis is done "ex post facto", that is always after the egoic event. When the results of analysis have built up one can work themselves in motion. That is do the opposite of the ego before it is going to manifest or stop the ego while it is manifesting.
Method
Have a checklist and be demanding with the mind - getting clear answers from it. Get a yes or a no from it. For example, was I angry or not? Answers such as I wasn't really, only a little bit or I was concerned etc. are vague and lead us to self-deception.
Analysis is to be used for a short time to break the "I" and then one must proceed to the next step which is to pass onto the emotional centre what has been seen about the ego through the intellectual analysis. From the emotional center to be absorbed by the consciousness and turn into comprehension which naturally leads to action.
Analysis proceeds from the outside going inwards.
Here is a going from the outside to the inside checklist (separate post).
Follow the steps in the checklist (to appear in the next few posts).
Questions to Ask
The aim of the checklist is to get to know more about what the ego does. The more we know the more we can work out what it wants and after that we can work out why.
Important questions to ask are:
1.) What pay back or reward is this "I" getting?
2.) What is it compensating for?. What internal lack is there?
3.) Is what it believes true?
4.) What is wanting to have or be?
5.) It wants to do or say something in order to feel something and through feeling it becomes something? What does it want to become or be?
6.) How is this "I" seeing myself and others?
7.) What karma does this "I" accrue and how would it be paid back?
8.) What value is this "I" expressing in a polarised way? The polarisation is exercising it outside for the lack of it inside relative to myself. It is good for me only to use that value in that way only.
Logical confrontation of the Being for Light and Orientation
Analysis can end with an exercise Master Samael called the "Logical Confrontation with the Being" Which is put the ego using all that we have seen about it side by side to the Being and It's way of processing and doing things.
The idea of doing this, is to give our consciousness a shock and for it to know that we can mange really well without it and that we don't need it and we can embrace the Being and be the Being in that area.
Tips
Don't get stuck in analysis. It then becomes something intellectual which makes us stagnate and not change. Instead we then actually end up talking endlessly about how the ego functions, what it does and how it impacts our life the dangers of the ego, without ever eliminating it.
Analysis is to take us from the intellect to the emotion then the motor centre. Analysis starts in the intellectual centrre, then the insight from the intellect is passed down to the emotional center where it becomes comprehension. The newly gained comprehension then reflects in action through the motor centre.
We see that it obeys the order of death. Analysis is an instrument of liberation through death. The order of liberation through death is that we first liberate our intellect, then our emotions and finally our word and action. We die in the reverse order: motor centre to emotional center to the intellectual
Analysis is used to defraud the claims of the ego. To break its logic and reasoning processes. This is the step that marks the definite beginning of the and of that psychological :"I". It's days now have a number.
Love how the leopard is an ambush hunter, making its necessary tools to be a careful and keen observer, being highly alert waiting for the best moment to pounce. It risks the wild using its strength, astuteness and explosiveness. Very similar of how we have to be when working on the ego. Face the event yet be ready to pounce on the ego we are ambushing, to do the opposite of it.
End (6082).
