Introduction
In general proceed from the outside working inwards.
Here is an example checklist for some ideas to follow when practicing intimate psychoanalysis.
Checklist
Physical
Recreate the event using our memory and imagination.
What was the event about?
Who was there?
Where was it?
What was the sequence of events?
What was said?
What did I do?
What did I say?
Use imagination to be outside of ourselves and see everything that happened, even see ourselves in the event, just as if we were watching the event on TV.
Important! At this stage it is just factual and objective answering.
This will bring a lot of light, as it is valuable information that we need to see about ourselves.
Observation gives rise to separation and separation gives rise to comprehension. Observation essentially tells us that the "I" we are observing is not of our true Being nature. Hence the process of separation begins within us.
Psychological
What was the flavour of the event?
What impressions were received in the event?
What were the triggers present in the event?
What appeared in my intellect? What was the thinking that emerged?
What was the feeling that appeared in my emotinal centre?
What was the "I" wanting to do or say?
What did the "I" want to feel? or What feeling would the "I" have liked to have felt?
What identity appeared in me during the event? What identity did we identify with?
What concept or concepts did the "I" bring out and think within the intellectual centre?
How intense was the feeling? (This is good information as that is how we track progress in the dissolution of the "I": decrease in intensity, frequency and duration.)
Belief Busting Questions
What belief did the "I" surface in both our intellectual and emotional centres?
What value is the "I" exercising?
What value is trapped in the at "I"?
Can we with our consciousness and free essence use the value freely to do the same thing that the ego does?
What is the pay back that the "I" is getting or giving us?
What are using the "I" to do for us?
Why do we need it? What is underlying our need for it?
Logical Confrontation of the Being
Put the way the "I" functions right up against the way the Being functions in that event.
If we think we don't know how the Being would function in that event then see how the Work would have someone function in that event.
End (6083).
