Origin of Cruelty is with the Self - (6067)

Where does this horrible cruelty that human beings express come from?

From the self. It goes self-cruelty then outer cruelty.

Cruelty to others and animals, plants and the Earth is a compensation from the cruelty that was first of all allowed to be one to oneself.

Often when children and even adults are exposed to some abuse by others they develop this outer cruelty.

We are cruel when we are miserable inside first.

If the inner cruelty in a person continues and it is frequently expressed outwardly then in time a cruelty ego develops which has the potential to make the person what we could call perverse.

When we are treated harshly, allowing ourselves to buy into that cruelty, accept it or tolerate it or even worse - believe in it against ourselves we are being cruel to ourselves and then to compensate for being unfairly cruel to ourselves, we express our frustration or lament outwardly, being cruel to others, animals and plants.

Normally we react with anger at others when this happens, where the cruelty we received is returned and things get balanced avoiding being cruel to ourselves.

In many ways outer cruelty is the result of masochism.

Anger towards others is also the result of being angry with ourselves first of all.

End (6067).

What is the Kundabuffer or Kundartiguador? - (405)

Introduction Gurdjieff and Master Samael spoke much about the Kundabuffer organ and a lot of what Master Samael said is pretty clear. This post is just about going over some of what he said. In the Quinto Evangelio, Master Samael also revealed many more details which do not appear in his books. Note, the Qunito Evangelio is a two tome compilation of transcriptions of many recordings of informal talks that Master Samael had with his students. English and Spanish Terms There are these two terms Kundartiguador and Kundabuffer which refer to the same thing. Kundartiguador is Spanish and Kundabuffer is English. I believe it was Gurdjieff who first introduced these terms in his book “Beelzebub’s Tales to his Grandson”. I believe “Beelzebub’s Tales to his Grandson” was not originally written in ether Spanish or English. So these terms Kundartiguador and Kundabuffer are translations where the word “Kunda” could not be translated and the ending "buffer" could b...

When We Speak Bad About Ourselves - Because of Self-Compassion - (2963)

Even Just Thinking Negative When we just even think, let alone speak about ourselves in a negative way, thinking things like: how we are really this and that bad and that is not at all what others see, that we are in capable, worth little, know nothing, can't do this and that, fail at this and that, a liar, a dreamer the list goes on... We can be 100% sure that self-compassion is behind this because pride by itself would never allow this.  In a case like this self-compassion taps into what pride hides from itself and others and exposes it. Feeling that it is doing job at ruining ourselves. Why It Does What It Does? Self-compassion does this sort of thing to avoid reprimand and to extract compassion from others. Self-compassion is about getting compassion for ourselves through others. It is set-up in relativity, using others as a reference point. Really the best thing that you can do for a person who is pitted against this ego is to ignore them, so that they can fa...

Embrace Motor Centre Lingo to Act - (6101)

To overcome the overthinking issue and the lamentation of not doing, we can use a key where we embrace the language of the motor centre. Before we do that we need to know the language of the motor centre. The language of the motor is action, it is doing. It is life in motion. It is starting, it is 'getting stuck into'  a task without reasoning.   "Get it done!" is the motto of the motor centre. "Let's find out!" is another. The motor centre modus operandi is not reasoning, that belongs to the intellect. So delaying and postponing is the intellect. It's not the motor centre. The motor centre is about doing. The more we just do something when we think of it or feel like no matter what the mind reasons (unless a very good physical reason) the more we are embracing the language of the motor centre.  Action without thinking. There has to be thinking but thinking aligned with doing, not thinking against doing. The motor is always doing. Not doing something...
