Notes on Karma for a National Context - (6035)

Introduction

Master Samael teaches that each nation has karma. Here are some notes on national karma.

Each nation has an identity and therefore is an entity in reality. Considering a nation as an entity - that is a unique unit with certain autonomy that comes from the consciousness of the people that constitute it,  a nation can act on its own merits and therefore acquire it's own karma and dharma. 

It's easy to see that some countries are doing so well and some others are simply not. Some countries experience war, draught, famine and general poverty, while others experience the opposite.

This is all due to a nation's level of karma and dharma.

Why do some countries have more karma or dharma than others? 

A nation can act as a unit to advantage or disadvantage its own people as well as other nations and peoples.

When a nation benefits its people and helps other nations that nation earns and accumulates dharma.

It's obvious, that countries whose inhabitants on average experience prosperity have less national karmic debt. As the nation is looking after its people.

It is easier to see a nation's karma when we live in that country having lived previously in another. especially is the case when having lived in a dharmic country to live in a karmic country.

Also when a nation enhances the level of Being of its inhabitants and promotes awareness and the embodiment of higher human values that nation earns dharma.

Because such a nation aligns with the many Cosmic Laws, with the main ones being balance and  reciprocity (give and take).

A nation that is just and upholds the principles of balance advances on a dharmic path of sustained prosperity. We can see this in many northern European countries.

Nations that allow the degeneration of human values logically don't increase their influx of dharma.

Where there is corruption and theft by the government resulting in the misuse of a countries resources and values karma results. As the country is not benefitting its people and so to try and benefit its people it takes from other countries creating debt. 

When the government is loose on corruption and theft this filters down into the ways of thinking, feeling and then being of the people. Then the karmic mistakes perpetuate through society causing a chain of cause and effect where one steals from the other and the other steals back and as the chain expands the whole country suffers the effects in various ways. 

When a country allows a small minority to have all the wealth and the majority to be poor there is obviously a huge imbalance and nothing that good can come from huge imbalances but suffering, which in its depth is a call to balance.

When there is abuse by a minority over a majority or vice versa there is imbalance and the law of the pendulum rules the karmic debt backlash, producing a swing to the opposite, from one kind of abuse to another, for example sever restriction to corruption. 

When a country is very karmic the karmic debts act like a vortex bringing its inhabitants into karmic events one after the other. That is why we see people who are 'doing it tough' continue to be hit being forced to do it tough again and again, almost like they are locked in a cycle.
