Your Day

Dedicate your day to be being awakened here in the physical reality.

State of Alertness

The state of alertness is supremely important to achieve this aim.

To be waiting attentively to catch your thoughts, even the subtle ones is the state of alertness.

To be awareness attentively listening, perceiving with the intention to catch an impulse of will or desire, a thought, a feeling with the intention of deepening the understanding of ourselves and gaining valuable information about the egos is a way to put the state of alertness into action.

Without the state of alertness, we can not get this valuable information and so our comprehension does not deepen or expand.

Certainly with comprehension we can unravel the ego and get to the bottom of it and therefore possess enough light in our consciousness to pierce right through it.

Manifestations of Resentment are Mathematical - (1079)

Introduction

Resentment at the end of the day is all about balance. Resentment is a psychological debt where there is within us a need for something to be compensated.

We are usually left with a psychological debt when we could not get balance or compensation straight away. This may have been due to the circumstances or due to our particular nature – polite, respectful, slow thinking etc. Though when we do not receive compensation from the outside that is from another person we get resentful, or if we are not able to compensate from within using the esoteric work we end up being resentful as well. When we don’t compensate or balance ourselves from within we must seek compensation from the outside and this is revenge, and resentment is very mathematical in revenge because it is about balance. If you read on you will see how it works.

Mathematical in Pay Back Quality

Resentment pays back to the other with impressions of exactly the same quality or value. Exactly the same, it is amazing. If it was words that hurt us, it pays back with words, if it was actions that hurt it pays back with the same actions. We pay back this way and we are not even aware of how we are paying back with the same value. We do it mechanically.

Mathematical in Pay Back Quantity

Resentment subsides when we have paid back the other to the same degree that we have felt hurt.

Resentment only really subsides when we have equalled the playing grounds. If we go too far resentment goes away altogether and we are left with a happiness that we don’t like to admit in the background and a pity for the other person in the foreground. A strange thing, we are happy that the debt has been cancelled and sad for the pain the other is feeling.

Resentment does not subside until we are equal. If what caused our resentment was a one event thing and that event can not be repeated to exact a pay back, then resentment pays back in instalments and when the equal amount has been paid out resentment magically stops, or at least it's pay back actions stop.

Long Memory

Resentment has a long memory. It waits in our subconscious and when the time is right it pays backs with the same value.

Summary

Resentment because it is about balance is mathematical in what it pays out in quality and quantity. And it is the subconscious. It works via memory. If we were to lose our memory, we would lose resentment. All of our resentments are in our subconscious. So we can not clean the subconscious without working our resentments!

If we can balance ourselves from within we do not fall into resentment. Sometimes even if we solve the issue straight away on the spot we don’t fall into resentment either. But that is tricky. The work and psychological death is the best always.

In a Conflict Keep the Nobility of the Work at the Forefront - (1078)

Nobility of the Essence

At first it may not seem like it is the right way, or the way that will work, or the way that will solve the situation, but keeping the nobility of one’s work and essence at the forefront in any conflict, clash or disagreement with other people really pays off.

It may take a long time to pay off, but it is worth it. Worth it to ourselves. Why? Because it is a triumph of the noble values of the essence and the Being in us.

One does not need to apologise, retract statements or pay any new debts. When the conflict subsides one is left in an equanimous state, a state not weighed down by debt.

Such a way of conducting oneself, logically I think bring the law to one’s side, providing one is not at fault.

Weapons of Comprehension and Will - (1077)

Weapons Sharp and Ready

When after a long or brief repose, we feel that a bothersome ego wants to return to our human machine, it is very helpful to be ready.

One good way to be ready is to arm yourself with all of your weapons so to speak, of comprehension and will.

The following points of comprehension converted into words may be helpful.

I Shall Fall Back in Time and in Karma if I get Identified!

To get identified once again is worse than stagnation because it means to undo the work we have done previously and return to a state where that ego was once very strong.

There are New Octaves of Consciousness Waiting Just If I Don’t Identify!

A whole new corridor leading into open green pastures awaits. It is up to us to choose.

When am I going to Gain Control? For How Long am I going to be without Control? It is Time Enough!

It is time enough, we can’t be with this defect as strong as it is and advance in the work and on the path.

I must have that Value Self-Contained and not Dependent on Outside Factors!

If we don’t claim this value by making it independent of all external factors, our Being will never have this value, and so He will not be able to be fully integrated in Himself and so he will remain incomplete and unrealised.

I must come to Possess Completely that Value, how can my Being Be Complete Otherwise, I must Return that Value into His hands

To have that value or for it to be returned to the Being, means guaranteed happiness in that area of life. That is the rightful place for that value to be – that is, in the hands of the Being. It is His!

It is not Worth it! The Consequences Far Outweigh the Manifestation!

We know this very well, three seconds of shooting our mouth off costs us two or more weeks of awkwardness with other people.

No Matter What this Ego Tells me, If I do What it Wants I am not going to be Happy!

We have always been left disillusioned, disappointment, regretful, lamenting and sorry after this ego manifests. Why will this time be different. The ego is a great liar and deceiver, but it is not going to trick us this time.

I am Fine Now, Why to Spoil that and Introduce Turmoil into my Inner and Outer Life?

Before the ego we are calm and after it manifests, because we identified with it – turmoil results until we make intense efforts to keep it under control, and time and the consciousness displace it. Just don’t identify, by making an effort for a few minutes saves us having to make tremendous efforts later.

Only By Overcoming this Ego will the Line of my Future in the Being Take Shape

The worst is to feel that we don't have a shaped or defined future, because the ego is so strong that it erases the projection of our future in the Being. This is the worst, to feel that insecurity and that waste of all that has been done up to now.

When we Fight with Someone in Our Mind - (1076)

When we fight with someone in our mind, we are not fighting with the person at all. We are fighting with ourselves. To be precise we are fighting with our own concept of the other person that we have in our mind. So in effect we are fighting with our own mind really. One part of our mind against another part.

I really love cardinals. How beautiful and red is their plumage!

We Create Two Mental Representations

We artificially create a person in our mind which we fight with and of course the part of our mind that represents us wins the battle and the part that is the other person loses the battle.

We always fight with ourselves in our mind, never the other person because we do not have them in our mind do we?

Concepts

We have a concept of them and then we go and fight with that concept. If we have no concept of them there would be no mental representation of them in our mind, and then nothing to fight with.

We Don’t Hate Really

We never actually hate, we only hate or reject the sensation or concept that is projected inside of ourselves when we think or see the other person.

Conclusion

This is such an interesting teaching! Very helpful, if we understand it deeply we can actually reduce the fighting that we do with others in our mind to a minimum, and that my good friends is PEACE!!!

As Long as an Ego is not Dead it Must Come Back - (1075)

Introduction – Every Ego Wishes to Continue Living

Every ego is made to live. So it is so natural that as long as it is alive it will try and try to enter our human machine to feed and exert its existence.

Dissolution the Solution

The solution is always elimination or dissolution with the help of the Divine Mother.

We Must be Ready!

It may go away for a while. Though it soon enough begins to send signals to our psychology that it is going to come back.

Well, we have to be ready!

Separation is Key!

It does us well to know that it is an ego, programmed or conditioned to produce certain thoughts and corresponding feelings. It has a will to make its desire take place in the physical world.

We will also do well to know that it is not us and that is what it must do, though we do not have to go through with that. We can observe and witness it trying to exert its will or desire through thoughts, feelings etc. but we do not have to go through with it.

That is separation! Keeping it separate from us leads to comprehension and that leads to a deeper level of comprehension which is repentance and then elimination or dissolution is a natural consequence.

Should People Take Interest in Us? - (1074)

Introduction

We may feel hurt or sad or like we are missing something or losing something when another person does not pay interest to us.

Obviously in such a situation we are wanting that person to take an interest in us, and part of the reason why we feel so upset is because of this expectation.

Reality Says they Don’t

We can’t say that people should be interested in us. People should only be doing what they are doing. We associate people not being interested in us as not loving us or not wanting us to be important in their lives. With this thought we feel very sad etc.

Can be Overcome

But if we generate our love for our Being we can overcome that.

We can overcome it because when we generate love for the being we are filling a gap in ourselves. When we generate love we are generating love from within our core, what happens with the ego of self-love is that it is made redundant because we are generating the same love for ourselves or our Being as self-love does. Self-love generates love for ourselves but based on others loving us or liking us, and when others don’t love us the ego of self-love does the opposite generates feelings of self-debasement or self-loathing etc.

However, the way we are generating love differs, this way of generating love comes from within us independent of any other factor, though with self-love we generate love dependent on others loving us. We always only generate ourselves the love that we feel for another person or for our Real Being or ourselves. The trick is how it is generated.

Conclusion

The love we feel for our Being is independent of others. We are not losing love, because we have it in our heart and consciousness and furthermore our Being is made up of it.

Sexual Energy is Consciousness and Fire - (1073)

Introduction

There is one very peculiar thing about the spiritual fall and its relationship to the sexual energy.

The fact that a spiritual fall is produced from the loss of the sexual energy tells us an extraordinary thing about the sexual energy.

If when we lose the sexual energy we fall spiritually (depending on how voluntarily it was), with the result being a loss of light or consciousness, the resuscitation of the egos that had been dissolved and a loss in power and force.

Sexual Energy is Light, Fire and Force

This means to some extent that in the sexual energy that was lost is consciousness, fire and force.

We rarely think this way that our sexual energy is consciousness or light, or power and force. We normally think of it as energy.

Even in sexuality is light and fire. If we use sexuality wrongly we lose consciousness, power and force.

Importance

This post was written to empathize the importance of the sexual energy, and for us to understand that in the sexual energy is consciousness and fire and that if one is cultivating consciousness one must also watch over the sexual energy because they complement one another.

The consciousness and fire of the Being is in sexuality. This makes the sexual energy and sexuality extraordinarily important.

Introduction

I was taught in my early classes that if a Master is to win entrance into the Absolute, this master must have helped at least one soul to get their realization.

Master Samael

Master Samael has certainly won entrance into the Absolute many times over now. Now it is the turn of those who helped Master Samael to help themselves by helping others to get their realization.

You Too

One day too if we are to win the Absolute we have to help others to get their self-realisation.

Stages of Self-Realisation

It seems that self-realisation begins when the bodies have been made and one has successfully completed the fifth initiation of fire. The stages that come after this are to further and perfect the self-realisation.

When a Soul Touches Another Soul - (1071)

Introduction

There are certain things that come from others that enter deep into our essence and really leave an indelible mark. This is different for every person.

Immense Gratitude and Respect

The effect of this mark in our essence is an immense gratitude towards the essence, soul and Monad of that other person.

It could be that a certain person has always through many difficulties always treated you in one way or has always loved you or has always been kind to you. This may mark and deeply impress your soul.

What marks or deeply impresses each essence depends on each person. Such a mark inspires a very deep mutual respect and appreciation. Such a person is said to have won the heart of another but not in a romantic way but in an essence to essence way.

Live Out What Has Touched Us

What we have to do is live out what has deeply touched us. Live out and be that principle that has so deeply touched us. We can’t expect others to live that out, because it is our principle to live out. This is so very important to understand, because if we don’t understand that we will fall victim to intolerance, anger and pride and control of others and towards others.

To do that for Someone Makes Life Worthwhile

Apart from living the life of the Being inside of us, to have impressed the essence of others makes life worthwhile. Such an impression will stay with that essence maybe forever.

With the work on ourselves it can happen that our behaviour leaves a mark on another essence.

What Master Samael Said About Theft - (1070)

Introduction

There is a very interesting anecdote with Master Samael and a student.

It goes like this:

Anecdote

A lady which was a student of Master Samael told him that she had stolen something from a shop and she was going to put it back anonymously.

He said that this is good but more was needed to be done. He said that she must even talk to the shop owner and tell the owner that she stole the object and that she was returning it.

This anecdote has a lot of wisdom in it for us. It says that when we make a mistake we should repair the mistake and inform others involved about our part in that mistake. This anecdote is inviting us to be much more complete in our reparations for our errors. Coming out totally clean is the way it seems, coming out half is not the way Master Samael was suggesting!

Naturality is a key to Dissolve Lust - (1069)

Something So Natural

Seeing sex as something very natural, as natural as walking, drinking and eating is very beneficial psychologically speaking. This is because due to the ego of lust we see sex and the human body as something fascinating and slightly unreal. And it is precisely this unrealness or fascinatingly super  high concept or exaggeration that gives the egos of lust a lot of their power.

Change Views

If we can change the way we see sex and the human body as something so very natural we will suffer a positive change in perception that will make the exaggeration of lust in its perspective very obvious to us and therefore give us more of a capacity to separate from it and therefore dissolve it.

Pacts of Blood - (1068)

Enigmatic Phrase in the Bible

This is a scary topic: pacts involving blood. Pacts are scary let alone mixing them with blood.

There is a history and a definite topic in esotericism to do with blood pacts. It is present in various traditions as an “oath of blood” and as "blood brothers” amongst the North American Indians.

Irreversible

Pacts to do with blood are said to be irreversible. When the blood of two people are mixed, as in the case of blood brothers, it is a sign that an agreement has been made and that agreement is irreversible. Meaning one will stay brothers with the other for whole of one's life and even beyond that.

When a pact is made, it means that we are swearing on our very own life, on our inner core which is true by nature, that whatever it is that we are promising will manifest and hold true.

In vowels, pacts, or pledges there is the principle of truth and the principle of life and Being. What is true has to have a Being, and the representative of our truth is our very own Being and the closest manifestation of our Being is in our blood called the humbledzoin of the Being, which I will post  more about later on. We have something of our very own Being in our blood. Amazing!

Summary

In short it seems, blood is used to make vows that are to be fulfilled. And it seems that blood is the most tangible element of our Being that we can bring forth into a pledge. This is to represent the core of your Being and also because blood is magic as it links people magically as in the blood pact made in the last supper.

The blood ritual that took place during the last supper, where the blood of Christ was drunk by his disciples, served to link the disciples of Christ to his astral body.

The Blood of the Lamb Washes Away the Sins of the World - (1067)

Enigmatic Phrase in the Bible

There is this very enigmatic phrase in the bible to do with the “blood of the lamb”. It says that: “the blood of the lamb washes away the sins of the Earth.”

This baffled me for so many years until I found Gnosis and here below is what Master Samael says about it.

Excerpt From Master Samael (El Quinto Evangelio, page 1257)

“The flesh of the Christ is the mercury of the wise and the blood, I repeat is the wine, the sulphur.

The blood of the sacrificial lamb that washes away the sins of the world, is the fire, the sulphur that burns within the entrails of the Earth…

When we strike a rock with a flint, fire results, that is to say, sulphur…

The Christ is crucified in the world from the dawn of life, He is the fire…

What interests us particularly is the flame of the flame, the occult of the occult, the astral signature of the fire, the fire of the fire; this mystical fire that the vestals of ancient Rome cultivated, this mystical fire that was venerated by the Persians in the land of Zarathustra, the fire that they rendered cult to,here in our beloved Mexican land, is precisely the Cosmic Christ, it is the sulphur of the wise, INRI..”

Summary

The lamb is the Christ or the intimate Christ and it is His blood that washes away the sins of the Earth, and his blood is the sulphur or the fire. To fulfil this phrase, we have to transmute, that is liberate this fire from our mercury or sexual energy and use it to dissolve the ego, which washes away the causes of our errors or sins.

I’m getting a bit scared writing these posts on blood so I thought that I would take a break and write something totally different, just to refresh my system from some strange egos that I have which get scared about anything that has to do with blood.

I know of some very good people in the Australian cities that may be checking out the blog, but cities such as Salt Lake City and Belle Plaine are a surprise to me. Hope anyway the BlogSpot has been useful for you.

Esoteric Significance of Blood –Introductory Notes - (1064)

Introduction

There is something very special about it. It is not like saliva or some other fluids within the body. It though like saliva serves a particular function but it is very special.

It is certainly an agent of life within us. Without it our body remains lifeless. When we “bleed out” we lose life.

Esoterically speaking it is what absorbs prana and moves prana around our body. Even within blood is prana, the great substance of life and that is why when we ‘bleed out’ we lose life or prana and the ability to bring and move prana around our body.

Function of Blood

Blood actually is fluid life, it absorbs oxygen - the breath of life through our lungs. When it absorbs oxygen it is renewed. It goes from being blue red in colour to pure red.

Blood nourishes the organs and all the parts of the body. It having absorbed oxygen is transformed and is able to give nourishment to the body. It fulfils the function of absorbing materials from the outer world and passing them onto the inner world.

It is like another very special organ itself, that interfaces with the outer world and the inner world, an intermediary. Mind you that is why it is related so intimately with eh astral body, because the astral body is a great intermediary between the soul and matter.

Interesting Things About Blood

We need blood it nourishes us and we also deposit into it certain waste products, so it nourishes and cleans at the same time, which are complimentary processes.

It attacks diseases or infections using the white blood cells, which are like little soldiers.

Blood is formed last in the embryo, indicating to us that blood is of very evolution or derivation within us. The things that form first are closer to the earth and are matter and the things that form last are the things that are closer to the spirit in us.

Introduction

The following excerpts from Maser Samael explain so very clearly how blood is a very magical substance and how it has been used magically in the past for very special purposes.

In the following excerpt Master Samael brings to our attention the magic power of blood.

The Magic of Blood

“THE TWO RITUALS

There are certain tenebrous rites which survive from the most remote periods of history.

The witches of Thessaly celebrated certain rituals in their cemeteries or tombs to invoke the shadows of the dead. On the anniversary of the death of their loved ones they would meet before the tombs in the cemetery and amidst the most terrifying shrieks, pierced their breasts so that blood would flow. This served as a vehicle for the shadows of the dead to materialize in the physical world. Homer, the great Initiate, recounts in the Odyssey something concerning a ritual celebrated by a witch on the island of Calypso, where the cruel Goddess Circe reigned. The priest cut the throat of a beast within a pit, filling it with blood. The priest invoked the Soothsayer of Thebes. Homer tells that the soothsayer answered the call and was able to totally materialize thanks to the blood. The Soothsayer of Thebes spoke personally with Ulysses and predicted for him many things.

The wise author of Zoroaster said, “Write in blood and you will learn that blood is Spirit.” Goethe exclaimed through Mephistopheles, saying, “This is a very peculiar fluid.””

The Last Supper

In the following excerpt Master Samael also describes how the last supper is really a blood ritual that uses the magical power in blood to link the astral vehicles of those who participate in this ceremony. It also gives the power to materialise the astral body of the master who has lost his/her physical body.

“THE LAST SUPPER

The Last Supper is a magical ceremony of immense power; something very similar to the archaic ceremony of Blood Brotherhood. The tradition of this Brotherhood says that if two or more people mix their blood in a cup and then drink of it, due to the blood they will remain united forever. The astral vehicles of these people will then be intimately associated for all of eternity. The Hebrew people attribute to the blood characteristics of a very special type. The Last Supper was a Ceremony of Blood. Each of the apostles brought drops of their own blood in their cups, and emptied these into the chalice of Jesus Christ. In that Chalice the Adorable had also placed his Royal blood. Thus, in the Holy Grail, the blood of Jesus Christ was mixed with the blood of his disciples. Tradition tells that Jesus also gave to his disciple’s infinitesimal particles of his own flesh to eat.

“And he took bread, and gave thanks, and broke it, and gave unto them, saying, This, is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

Likewise, also the cup after supper, saying, “this cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.”

In this way the pact was signed. Every pact is signed in blood. The astral of the Christ Jesus remained associated, united with his disciples and with the whole of mankind through the pact of blood. The Adorable is the Saviour of the World. This ceremony of blood is as ancient as the Infinite. All the great Avatars have verified it since ancient times. The Great Lord of Atlantis also celebrated the Last Supper with his disciples.

This ceremony of blood was not improvised by the Divine Master. This is a very ancient, archaic ceremony, the blood ceremony of the Great Avatars.

Every Gnostic Unction, whatever the cult or belief, sect or religion is associated, united intimately with the Last Supper of the Adorable by the pact of blood. The Primitive Holy Gnostic Christian Church, to which we have the privilege of belonging, conserves in secret the primitive rituals used by the Apostles. These were the rituals of the Christians who met in the catacombs of Rome during the epoch of the Caesar Nero. These are the rituals of the Essenes, a humble caste of great Initiates among whom was counted Jesus Christ. These are the primitive rituals of the ancient Christians.

These rituals have power. In them is contained all our secret science of the Great Arcanum. When we ritualize, we vocalize certain mantra which has the power to sublimate the sexual energy to the heart. In the Heart-Temple lives the Internal Christ.

When the sexual energies are sublimated to the heart, they then have the great joy of mixing with the forces of the Internal Christ, so that one is able to enter the superior worlds. Our rituals are repeated on all the seven great Cosmic Planes. The ritual ceremony establishes a secret channel from the physical region, passing through all the seven great Planes to the world of the Solar Logos. The Christic atoms of the Solar Logos descend via this channel, and then accumulate in the bread and in the wine. This really is how the bread and wine, through the work of Transubstantiation, become the flesh and blood of Christ. On eating the bread and drinking the wine, the Christic atoms are diffused throughout our whole organism and pass to the internal bodies to awaken in us those powers of a solar nature.

The apostles drank the blood of Christ and ate the flesh of Christ.”

Summary

So then magically speaking blood can give life here in the physical world to what is spirit, as in the last supper and the ritual performed for Ulysses mentioned by Homer. Blood used magically can also link the astral bodies of those who participate in the magic ritual.

Also in the last supper it was the real blood of Jesus and the apostles that was mixed and also drank.

Now and then in esoteric talks and lectures I would hear blood being mentioned. It always made me wonder about blood, as to what really is in our blood and what is its real esoteric significance.

We really get big hint as to the esoteric significance of blood when we hear about the last supper and the verse in the bible that says: “the blood of the lamb washes away the sins of the world”.

We are ready to achieve something when we say to ourselves "whatever the cost".

It is important to bear in mind that others are not an enemy here.

When you are prepared to do, to lose and sacrifice whatever it may be to attain your goal, you are ready to get it and you shall.

Freedom Comes when we are Free from Desire - (1060)

Introduction

We have to leave the desire to be loved all together. That is freedom.

It seems so scary to leave that desire. As soon as we contemplate this possibility we see ourselves as alone, abandoned and bereft.

All the Masters Before Us Did It!

Isn’t true that all the great masters before us, have dissolved the desire to be sought after and loved?

Then we must do the same at some point.

Will we be?

We may think that we will be cruel. But will we? I think that we won't be. We are more likely to be giving freely of our love.

We have our Being, and in our Being is love and so we will be love and so how then can we lose love?

Conclusion

We will certainly be free, and more loving and more of love itself. This is because the desire for love cuts us off from it and we can never control the receiving of love. Love is like water as soon as we close our hand on the water in the palm of our hand it escapes, that is the first thing we do to lose love is to try and control it.

The Gymnasium to Conquer the Fabrication of One’s Psychological Moon - (1059)

Introduction

The gymnasium to conquer the fabrication of one’s psychological moon is a fierce one.

Often it is a very painful one. It does not have to be painful though it may not be for certain people or at certain times.

If it is Painful

If it is painful, it is because we need yet to learn many intimate truths, and because we are very attached to certain beliefs that are not true we end up suffering in the process of realising our beliefs are wrong before coming over time, to realise and adopt these truths deeply enough to displace the suffering.

First Lesson

One needs to come to the conclusion that one is really above all, a consciousness and that consciousness is of a Real Being, and that Real Being is real and has a real presence, and furthermore is inside of ourselves and we are ultimately that Being.

Coming to this realisation, which mind you must be realised by our consciousness, requires releasing many false identities and points of reference. We have to stop deriving or forming our identity from anything external. For this to happen, most of the time there has to be a break down in our connections to these external things and this can be painful, especially if our identity is based on a particular relationship.

Second Lesson

We have also to realise that the true or truer point of reference is our own consciousness. This must be proven to us over and over so that it sinks deeply into our very own consciousness.

Third Lesson

We must have to make many errors in compensating using external things and this is painful also. But it is a learning process to acquire the knowledge of how to compensate from within instead of from without.

This learning requires us to learn how to manage of our forces by ourselves and for the Being and through our Being.

Fourth Lesson

We must also come to the conclusion that everything about us is our responsibility. Our happiness, our suffering, our mistakes, our karma, our pain, our life, our heart etc. all belong to ourselves and are our responsibility. The inner life of others is not for us to manage; it is their business.

Summary

There are a few other things as well and all these things require work to acquire. But each new lesson it gets quicker and quicker to learn as the first lessons have been learnt.

Why Water as an Element is Special - (1058)

Introduction

As we know water is one of the four elements and really they are all special, without either one we would not have creation and life the way we have it now.

We know that water is akin to life, it is what life comes out of and it is what sustains life. Earth provides the platform for life, fire is the energy of life and air is like the movement of life. All the elements fulfil a role in sustaining life. However, water does something a little extra.

The following excerpts from Gurdjieff and Master Samael tell us what this extra function is and why water is so important to the formation and especially the sustaining of life.

Excerpt – Gurdjieff

Water and the Trogoautoegocratic Law

“The said pearl is formed in one-brained beings which breed in the ‘Saliakooriap’ of your planet Earth, that is to say, in that part of it which is called ‘Hentralispana,’ or, as your favourites might express it, the blood of the planet, which is present in the common presence of every planet and which serves the actualizing of the process of the Most Great common-cosmic Trogoautoegocrat; and there on your planet this part is called ‘water.’”

Water and the Three Primary Forces

“In this bread the crystallization of cosmic substances is also obtained according to the law of Triamazikamno, the substances from the following three relatively independent sources serving as the three holy forces of this sacred law, namely: the holy affirming or active principle is the totality of those cosmic substances composing what your favourites call ‘water’; the denying or passive principle is the totality of the substances composing what your favourites call the ‘flour’ obtained from the divine wheat grain; and the holy reconciling or neutralizing principle is the substance issuing or obtained as the result of burning, or, as your favourites say, from ‘fire.’

“For a better elucidation of the thought I have expressed concerning the significance of a permanent fusion of diverse-sourced cosmic substances, let us take as an example the said relatively independent totality of substances which in the formation of this prosphora or bread is the active principle, namely, the relatively independent totality which is called by your favourites ‘water.’

“This relatively independent totality of cosmic substances named there on the Earth water, being in itself one might say, a ‘natural mechanical mixture,’ can be preserved exclusively only in conditions of conjunction with common Nature. If the connection of this water with common Nature is cut, that is to say, if a little of this water is taken out of a river and kept separately in a vessel, then after a certain time the water in this vessel inevitably begins to be gradually destroyed, or as it might otherwise be said, to decompose, and this process, to the perceptive organs of beings, usually smells very ‘malodorously,’ or, as your favourites would say, this water soon ’stinks.’”

Excerpt – Master Samael

“What will we say now of the element water? Obviously it is through this element that the eternal common cosmic “Trogoautoegocratic” process is cryatsllized, making possible the reciprocating nourishment of all the creatures. If the Earth were to remain without water, if the seas were to dry up, if the rivers were to disappear, all the creatures that inhabit the face of the Earth would die; with this concrete and definitive fact it is completely demonstrated that water is the agent through which is crystallized the eternal common cosmic “Trogoautoegocratic” law.”

Conclusion

So water receives cosmic forces and transmits them to us all, and water absorbs things from us and transmits them to the cosmos.

Gurdjieff said something interesting that when water is cut from nature and bottled it begins to degrade. He also says that water is an active principle corresponding to the first primary force of nature.
